I think about the little girl I used to be. The one who had no idea what life would ask of her, how many times she’d have to start over, how many times she’d question herself, or how much courage it would take to become the woman she is today.
And I wonder what she’d think if she could see me now.
Not because everything turned out perfectly. Not because I’ve accomplished everything I want to. But because I kept going. I took chances. I built something of my own. I figured things out when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
And somewhere along the way, I became the woman that little girl needed.
