The Cutting Room is growing and we are looking to bring on another full time stylist to join our team!
Qualifications:
✂️A desire for your chair to be a safe, affirming and accommodating space for marginalized communities 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️♿️
✂️kindness
✂️A desire to grow in your craft and attend continuing education
✂️1 or more years experience behind the chair
Current CO cosmetology, hairstyling or barbering license
✂️Confidence in performing short and long haircuts, and offering color services
✂️Strongly prefer Sat-Tuesday availability- these are days we are turning away clients in particular)
✂️Must be willing to maintain an active, professional social media presence

Stylist spotlight: Jasmine (she/her).

Jasmine graduated from the Aveda Institute Denver in 2024, but hair has been part of her life for as long as she can remember, from braids before volleyball games to styles for homecoming and prom. Creativity has always been central to her world, through drawing, painting, pottery, photography, orchestra, and now, hair.

She loves the science and artistry behind hair: biology, chemistry, color, cutting, and styling that highlights each client’s individuality. Education is also a key part of every appointment with Jasmine. She wants clients to leave not only loving their hair, but also understanding how to care for and recreate their look at home.
