Her scans show exactly what we expected, not what we had hoped.

Kehlani has officially relapsed within a relapse.

Neuroblastoma w/ CNS and systemic disease. 40 kids nationwide develop CNS Disease relapse. 1-3 of those develop systemic disease relapse. This girl is always keeping us on our toes!!

The odds are not in her favor by a long shot. On paper and scientifically this is incurable and unfortunately the 6months to a year is the time line given.. SCIENTIFICALLY!!

We were also told that if we decided not to start treatment, she wouldn’t make it to Halloween. To me that is NOT ACCEPTABLE. So with that being said, we were admitted today. She started her first round of chemo at 430pm, followed by a second chemo. Tomorrow she will get the same 2 and then we will be adding immunotherapy. There is so much at risk. Kehlani hasn’t not recovered from the trial injection, but we don’t have time to wait…. AT ALL. Sometime next week, we should have her stem cells back and be able to give them to her as a rescue. There is always a chance they don’t graft, so please pray that they do.

Prayer warriors we need you to storm the gates like no other!!!!! She is no where near out of the woods. Her little body wants to fight, so we will encourage it to do so.

We do not know when will be going home. Expectations are not for a while because we need her body to cooperate with everything.

So that’s where we are… just pray and pray hard!!!

For those who have asked.. I don’t know what I need…. Besides a miracle! I’m not ready to bury my baby!!!

As of right now, still no scan updates. She does have a CT tomorrow followed by clinic to discuss findings and possible options…. To hear the word.. POSSIBLE OPTIONS is huge! Especially when MSK said there’s nothing for them to do. So even though we don’t even have results yet, I am absolutely beyond blessed that our team at home isn’t just throwing in the towel and doing everything they can.

Tomorrow afternoon, after clinic she will be admitted for possibly 5 or so days. We know her road ahead is going to be long and so very uncertain. So we need all of the prayers you can give.

Thank you to everyone who is praying and continuing to pray. As a family we are so very devastated but clinging to every prayer and every ounce of hope possible.

Today is her MIBG this will tell us exactly what we need to know… where is the cancer….

God I know you hear and see Everyone praying for this sweet baby. I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds praying for her. Please hear us all. Please send your mercy and grace and cover Kehlani in all things holy. Please let the scans only show the cancer in her brain that we already knew was there and no where else. Please let her bloodwork this morning show improvement from yesterday and that her little body is fighting to correct these things on its own. And please show that the trial injection is working on those brain tumors. You are the ultimate healer and we all have faith in you. This sweet baby has a testimony to tell and I really believe with my whole heart you aren’t ready for her to even be close to a final chapter!!!

The hard conversations have been had. So now, I’m telling yall we need everyone praying as hard as possible. Yesterday, we received a call from New York, they sent us home because Kehlani will no longer be on the trial.

Her MRI showed possible bone marrow progression. Unfortunately, this means her fight just became an almost impossible to beat situation. I say this because God has the final say!!

According to New York, they sent her home to spend as much time with family as possible. They are not giving her a good outlook. When I say that, they said that they would be surprised if she were still with us in a year. In fact, even 6 months would be surprising.

This girl is the strongest person I know. So I can only hold on to the fact that God grants miracles and she needs one!!! So please pray. Please please. Pray for clear bone marrow scans, pray her counts start rising, pray that she gets her miracle!!!

Friends and Family. We received some very heartbreaking news today. Kehlani has scans Wednesday and Thursday. We need a miracle!!! If anyone deserves a miracle it’s this sweet baby!

We made it home this morning. But not before miss thang was the star of the Plane! Huge thank you to Southwest Airlines for making her feel so special, from the shout out to the gifts, and then letting her “fly” the plane.. okay maybe not exactly fly but still!

Our beautiful, sassy, fashionable, accessory-loving girl has received devastating news. 💔

Kehlani came to New York for a clinical trial, holding onto so much hope. We just learned that despite the trial, the cancer in her brain has progressed.

I am so beyond devastated.

Her doctors have told her family to pack their things and get home to Texas as quickly as possible. Right now, I’m raising funds so they can make that journey home together without having to worry about one more expense.

Anything raised will go directly to Kehlani’s family to support them during this unimaginable time.
