There’s a whole stage between baby products and adult products and for a long time, personal care seemed to skip right over it.

Kids and tweens are becoming more independent. They’re playing sports, heading to school, packing their own bags, learning about hygiene and starting to build personal-care routines of their own. But when parents go looking for products for this stage, the choices often jump from products made for babies and little ones straight to products marketed toward teens and adults.

That’s the gap Polished Punk was created to fill.
As a former teacher and Sephora educator, I saw an opportunity to create a personal-care brand specifically with kids and tweens in mind products that feel fun and exciting to them, while giving parents thoughtful options for this stage of childhood.

Sweat itself has very little odor. Body odor happens when bacteria that naturally live on our skin break down certain compounds in sweat. That’s what creates the smell.

This is why some kids begin developing body odor before many parents expect it. It doesn’t necessarily mean they’re dirty it can simply be a normal part of growing up.
