My best filter free and makeup free photos. All my photos filter free unless I use a funky filter. 😊 Sometimes lighting is perfect and hides all of my wrinkles, dark circles, under eye bags . All things we never talk about unless discussing how to get rid of them. ✨ The Aging Process and accepting it has not been easy on me or for me to accept in general. 🌟 Last 2 years were physically, medically and mentally difficult for me and it shows. I constantly work at always seeing the beauty in my ever changing face, body etc. 🌟
Working hard at being grateful, so grateful for the health I have. Trying to shift the focus to health and not societies beauty standards. 🌟 If you have read this far thank you. I'm sure many of you can relate. 🤗 Shifting my focus to gratitude.

One week post hospitalization. I was in Banner Behavioral Health Hospital for a week, 2nd hospitalization in 2 years. I am grateful Arizona has such an excellent Hospital. I was feeling beyond "out of sorts". Wish I could go into more detail on this post. I did call 911 and was taken to Banner Casa Grande, from there Banner Behavioral Health Hospital. Just know that there is help when needed. Doctor confirmed for me it was "environmental factors" that affected my bipolar. Not ashamed of my diagnosis I've dealt with - successfully mind you - since 1990s. For those of you, family and friends, who have reached out, thank you. Means so much to me. I'm pretty sure I could write a few books on my experiences. Am I feeling better? No but better than previous week. Adjusting to changes in my meds, I had 3 appoints this week with my incredible "psych team". PLEASE know that even when someone is putting in the work to live the best life possible - breakdowns can occur or hospitalization to prevent such outcome. Too many people judge - what is needed is understanding and compassion.
