Are retention photos real? Let's be honest, retention can be based on a number of things:

- Shedding
- Premature Lash (LN) fall out 😕
- Lashes popping off

Pretty much all things can be put in the above categories. Let's be honest we post pictures about our best retention photos however every single person is different based on their activities:

- Heavy makeup wearers. Its not the makeup per say, its the friction when its time to take it off.
- Gym sports activities. Especially if you're wiping your face often vs patting and not rinsing (cleaning) off sweat.

- Non porosity... natural lashes (unfortunately thats a harder fix)

- Pickers

- Bad placement (That's us and a lot of times it's us)

The bottom line is it's okay to show not just your best retention photos because typically it won't be the same on everyone and the standard and expectations you're setting for your clients may be something you can't follow through with..... in turn you lose a client because of "False Advertising"

This reel shows a 2 week retention set to the new one. Notice is lighter THROUGHOUT the set when she comes back. NO gaps (although it can happen), why? We take 1.20 hours to ensure we fill 90% of their naturals when possible, so when shedding happens its as even as possible and they don't look crazy when they come back with huge gaps or these cluster of single lash fans. Ugh! That's ALWAYS the goal!

But here's the important part, you can't get clients if you're not responding immediately, i mean like immediately within seconds.

If she would have called somebody else, that client would have been theirs. But Anita took take care of it.

If you own any type of salon, barbershop, medspa, lash bar, nail shop, or an entrepreneur, solopreneur, suite owner or even if you consider yourself a "boss", you need to invest in business because your competitors are!
