In celebration of Constitution Day, my students had the opportunity to create something of their own: our classroom Nail Tech Constitution! 📜✨

This activity was about more than learning history. We connected the principles of the U.S. Constitution with the standards that should guide us as future beauty professionals.

Together, we discussed and created our own commitments to:

🧼 Sanitation & infection control
💅 Proper nail practices
🤝 Respect for clients and fellow professionals
📚 Continuing education
🦺 Health & safety
❤️ Integrity and responsibility

Just as a constitution establishes principles and responsibilities, our “We the Nail Techs” Constitution represents the standards we want to carry from the classroom into the salon.

Education is not only about learning how to do nails—it’s about understanding the responsibility that comes with becoming a professional.

Tener 50K seguidores no necesariamente significa tener el conocimiento, la preparación o la capacidad para formar profesionales.

Para mí, el verdadero impacto no se mide solamente en followers.

Yo prefiero mirar atrás y ver más de 150 estudiantes graduadas, muchas comenzando desde cero, que hoy están trabajando, creciendo y realizando trabajos con mejores protocolos y mayor conocimiento que incluso algunas personas que llevan años en esta industria.

¿Y saben cuál es la diferencia?

La educación continua.

Porque tener muchos años haciendo uñas no significa que ya lo sabemos todo.

Nuestra industria evoluciona.
Los productos cambian.
La ciencia avanza.
Los protocolos se actualizan.

Y nosotros también tenemos que evolucionar.

Como educadora, mi propósito no es simplemente enseñarte a hacer unas uñas bonitas.

Mi propósito es enseñarte a entender qué estás haciendo, por qué lo estás haciendo y cómo hacerlo de una manera segura y profesional.

Porque un verdadero educador no solamente crea contenido.

Crea profesionales.

Y para mí, ese siempre será el verdadero significado del éxito.

La viralidad puede darte números.
