When our daughter Shiloh was little and crawling around the house, we realized how easy it would be for her to get into the cabinet full of cleaners and products we no longer felt good about having around our family.

That moment changed something for us. Clean living stopped being an idea, and it became a responsibility.

Cheeky Maiden grew from that place. A family asking better questions. A home slowly changing one product at a time. A desire to make natural home products, handmade soap, and skin care we would feel good about sharing with other families too.

🌼Calendula is one of those flowers that just looks happy... With its bright orange center and yellow petals, it's like a little sunshine sitting in the garden.

But we don't love calendula just because it is pretty. We infuse calendula for our Glow Getter facial serum because it is one of those ingredients we keep coming back to for natural skin care. It feels gentle, beautiful, and useful in the best way. This is one of our favorite parts of making garden-infused skin care products.

Last week we had one of those “pinch us a little” moments.

We had the joy of being part of a beautiful event at the Indigo Hotel Vinings, where we had the chance to share our products, our story, and a whole lot of good smells with 60 NEW friends that evening.

To the Indigo hotel team, thank you for hosting such a thoughtful and welcoming event. Your space gave local makers like us the chance to connect and share what we love with people who help stories travel.

As a family-owned business, these moments mean more than you know.
