At Urban Wholistics we believe every child belongs and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

This year, with the support of the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities and our incredible community partners, we are creating a more accessible farm experience for youth with limited abilities through AgriBility, a new youth farmers program by SONIA Organics

We’re working hard to add an accessible ramp, curb cuts, and pathways so more youth can experience the joy of farming, nature, and wellness in a welcoming environment.

From lease to legacy, Tatum Park a landmark of Black land ownership, urban agriculture Sonia Flunder‑McNair now owns Tatum Park, home to what is believed to be Lucas County’s only Black woman-owned, USDA‑registered urban farm.

13,194 steps on business to Capitol Hill as a CARET Delegate with Central State University, meeting Senator Husted and Rep Miller, Beatty, Brown, Rayburn, and Moreno.

I walked those halls advocating for urban agriculture, Black land ownership, and the future of our Youth Farmers.
