This was one of those days that reminded me why I want my salon to feel like a safe place for every season of life. 🤍
Mama, if the only way you can get your hair done is to bring that baby with you — BRING. THAT. BABY. 👏🏼
My doors are open. I don’t judge. I don’t mind the crying, the bottles, the toys scattered on the floor, or becoming the salon nanny while your color processes. 😂 Give me that sweet baby and take a minute to BREATHE.
Motherhood is hard. Some days we’re just trying to keep everybody fed, dressed, alive and where they need to be — and somewhere along the way, we forget that we need taken care of too.
It takes a damn village, and if I get to be a tiny part of yours for a few hours, I’m more than happy to. 🥹🤍
So bring the babies. Bring the snacks. Bring the diaper bag. Come exactly as you are.
You deserve to feel beautiful and cared for, too, Mama. Don’t lose yourself while you’re busy raising those babies. 🤎
Most of you that have been around through my 11 years of doing hair know that I raised all 3 of my boys right next to your chair, no judgement just love support and help to this single mama.
And if that means I’m doing hair with a baby on my hip… well, that’s just another day at the salon. 😂🫶🏼

This one hits a little differently as a hairstylist and a DOLLY lover! 💔✂️🤍
The world lost an absolute icon today — Dolly Parton, the Queen of Country. 👑 Dolly had a way of making women feel like being feminine, strong, a little sassy, and having really big hair was something to be proud of.
One of my favorite Dolly quotes has always been:
“I think the most important thing a woman can have — next to talent, of course — is her hairdresser.” 💗
As a hairstylist, I’ve always loved this quote because it makes me smile, but there’s also so much truth behind it. A hairdresser becomes so much more than the person who does your hair. We’re there for the new jobs, weddings, babies, breakups, fresh starts, celebrations, losses, and all the life that happens in between. Sometimes a few hours in our chair is exactly what a woman needs to feel like herself again.
Dolly understood the magic of good hair — but more importantly, she understood women. She taught us to dream big, stay humble, laugh at ourselves, love people well, and never be afraid of a little extra sparkle. ✨
Rest easy, Dolly. 🤍 Thank you for the music, the laughter, the wisdom, the rhinestones, and for always giving us hairstylists a little extra credit. 🥹✂️
Heaven gained a whole lot of blonde hair and rhinestones today. 👑✨
There will never be another Dolly.
