🐠 This 30-year-old fish is STILL going strong (and he's got a horn)
Meet H***y, the Unicorn Tang living his best life in the Duncans' insane 275-gallon saltwater reef tank. With over two dozen fish, vibrant corals, and creatures most of us will never see in person, their Edinburgh basement has become a living ocean.
What started as their son's childhood dream is now Derry's mission to show neighbors the magic beneath the waves. "Seeing the joy on people's faces when they witness God's creatures up close" is everything.

In the August issue of Stroll Edinburgh, veteran educator Kim Glass shares three healthy practices for the new school year: explore a non-academic pursuit, monitor your child's phone use, and listen when school reaches out with concerns.
Your student's success starts with support at home. Read Kim's full advice in the August issue of Stroll Edinburgh.
⭐️ Meet the Erisman Family! Danielle and Josh moved to Edinburgh last summer with their kids Landon, age 6, and Mackenzie, age 4. Since their arrival, they’ve quickly become part of our community fabric, from baseball games to neighborhood pool days.
This fall brings exciting milestones. Landon starts first grade while Mackenzie begins Pre-K. What draws them most to Edinburgh? The strong sense of community and welcoming neighbors that made this feel like home in just one year.

This month's recipe came with a side of gratitude. For America's 250th, neighbors Callaway Rector and Savannah Schuler mixed patriotism with a little sweetness, baking raspberry muffins for their neighbor, Col. Vince Apruzzese Sr. (Ret.), whose 25 years of Army service helped shape the nation we celebrate today.
The girls found their whole wheat raspberry muffin recipe in The Complete Baking Book for Young Chefs by America's Test Kitchen Kids, then gave it their own patriotic spin, turning the muffins into festive cupcakes to share with their veteran neighbor.
We love seeing young neighbors embrace the spirit of gratitude and service. Celebrating America's 250th can be as simple as sharing something homemade with a hero next door, any time of year.

👟This September, as he turns 40, Dr. Dustin "Biggs" Biggerstaff of AlignLife Chiropractic - Sugar Hill isn't slowing down. He's taking on the Tuscazoar 100, a grueling 100-mile endurance race through the rugged hills and trails of Dover, Ohio.
A former Amphibious Reconnaissance Marine, Dr. Biggs is running for something bigger than himself: raising awareness and support for Semper Fi & America's Fund, an organization providing lifelong assistance to wounded veterans, service members, and military families.
"This race is about resilience, purpose, and continuing the mission," Dr. Biggs says.
Every mile is a tribute to those still fighting battles long after their uniform comes off, and a call to action for the rest of us to show up for the veterans who sacrificed so much for our country.
