The imagination and personality behind Polished Posey is none other than Sandra Rasmussen. Sandra is a professional "beauty know it all," who loves to express herself creatively through hair, makeup and fashion. Her Passion for all things beauty began when she was just 6 years old.Her professional career began 2+ decades ago in 2005. Her expertise and knowledge has continued to grow; including on-site services for hair, makeup and skin. Sandra thoroughly enjoys meeting new people and considers all opportunities to motivate, uplift and inspire those around her to be an absolute privilege as a beauty professional. Sandra is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which has taught her the importance of serving others, the value of family, and the humility to rely on God. With an understanding that not everyone fits inside a neat little box Sandra makes it her personal mission to share what she knows so she can help others find what makes them individually beautiful inside and out. Through Polished Posey and her education in cosmetology and professional styling, she has established herself as the go-to-girl for personal and photo styling.Her company, Polished Posey, strives to let your inner-light shine on the outside, so others can see your confidence. Beauty has never been a superficial thing for me. It has always been about connecting with someone on a human level and making sure that I focus on bringing their divine attributes forward, from the inside, so that they can lead themselves with these, instead of insecurities. Through something as simple as a haircut and essentially become the most authentic version of themselves.
This is a reminder to me to give more often of myself in this way.
You can be as simple as a Posey, but with a lil extra water and sunlight, it can become the polished, authentic version it was always intended to become. We always grow towards the sunlight, and there are always greater heights to be attained when we let our faces feel it's warmth.
