Five years ago, you walked into KOMI straight out of cosmetology school. Neither of us kn where this journey would take us, but looking back now, it’s been one incredible adventure.

We’ve truly done life together. From nicknaming you “Mini,” recording a podcast, teaching countless education classes side by side, photo shoots, holiday parties, networking events, sunrise hikes, country concerts, Stoney’s nights, pool days, snowboarding, golf, and so many adventures in between…

We’ve traveled to New York City, San Diego, Nashville, Arizona, Pasadena, Hawaii where we taught and did hair together, and Greece… where I got to share my home and favorite place in the world with you while we island hopped together.

I’ve watched you rock every hair color imaginable… and somehow convince me to give you “pocket hair” just to get you blonde again. 😂

More importantly, I’ve watched you grow from a brand-new stylist into someone who surpassed $100,000 in revenue within your first year and is now on track to be in the top 2% of our industry while staying true to single booking. You’ve become an incredible educator, mentor, leader, and creative, and your eye for aesthetics has helped shape so much of what KOMI is today.

You’ve stood beside me through every season… the highs, the challenges, the pivots, the celebrations, different teams, and every crazy idea in between. You were the best assistant I could’ve ever asked for, but somewhere along the way you became so much more than that. You’ve become my right hand, my family, and one of the biggest champions of what KOMI stands for.

The heart you’ve poured into this company can’t be measured. Your loyalty, leadership, and belief in this vision have carried more weight than you’ll ever know.

When I think about these last five years, I don’t think about one memory… I think about hundreds. Every laugh, every class, every trip, every milestone, every challenge we’ve overcome together.
