Over the years I’ve noticed something funny.
Every time I paint faces, there ends up being a theme. Either everyone asks for the same random design that day, or tons of strangers are from the same faraway place, or maybe a huge portion of my clients all have the same unusual thing in common. It never fails to amuse me once I notice and then see it repeating over and over.
Yesterday’s secret theme at Rowley's Red Barn was cheetahs, pokeballs, and butterflies. I don’t usually paint a ton of the first two, but everyone must’ve got the memo that this was the theme of the day, and suddenly in one day I was painting more of these three than I’ve painted all season. 😍
