We’re honored to bring together three professionals with experience across the legal, advocacy, and mental health fields for Ishtar’s Circle’s Domestic Violence Awareness Panel.

Judge Megan Goldish
Domestic Violence Division, Circuit Court of Cook County
Judge Goldish presides over criminal and civil domestic violence matters and brings extensive judicial experience addressing domestic violence within the court system.

Madiha Hussaini
Prevention & Outreach Specialist, Apna Ghar
Madiha works in prevention and community outreach, bringing expertise in survivor advocacy, culturally responsive resources, and community education.

Shakea Houston
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Therapist
Shakea brings a mental health perspective to the conversation, with experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, emotional wellness, and healing.
