This Fall Break has been MUCH needed! Between resting, resetting, and handling a little business from the comfort of my bed (because BALANCE, okay?! 😂), I’ve had some time to reflect.

And one thing I’m learning is to appreciate the little wins, celebrate my growth, and stop worrying so much about what’s next.

But let me tell y’all something…

STOP waiting on everybody to support you! 👏🏽

Everybody is not going to understand your vision, and that’s OKAY! Sometimes the people cheering the loudest for you will be complete strangers.

And sometimes, baby, YOU have to be your own biggest cheerleader! 📣💕

Stop worrying about who’s clapping, who’s watching, or who’s not showing up for you.

Apply for that job. Go back to school. Start that business. Chase that dream. Whatever it is you’ve been wanting to do, GIVE YOURSELF A CHANCE!

You owe it to yourself to at least TRY!

And remember, just because you don’t see the results right away doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

As an educator, I especially appreciate experiences that encourage critical thinking and help us better understand the world around us. 🍎
