When we say Heather brings a whole-person approach to TMJ + Craniosacral Therapy, this is what we mean.
Her background spans massage therapy, biodynamic craniosacral training, Ayurvedic studies, midwifery, prenatal and postpartum massage, and specialized buccal massage training through The Buccal Lab.
That depth of training shapes the way she works with the jaw, face, head and neck, combining focused massage, craniosacral techniques, and intraoral/buccal work when appropriate.
If you’ve been dealing with jaw clenching, facial tension, or that “I hold all my stress in my jaw” feeling, Heather’s appointments were created with you in mind.
Gut health and acne connection: A 2026 study compared the gut and skin microbiomes of people with acne to people without acne, and the gut differences were especially interesting.

The reason skin changes with age? Circulation. It’s at the core of why the skin ages. As circulation slows, the skin receives less oxygen and fewer nutrients needed for healthy cellular function and repair. Waste removal becomes less efficient, too. Over time, this can contribute to a duller complexion, slower healing, reduced collagen production, and a loss of that naturally vibrant glow.
Healthy aging shouldn’t be just about what serums you apply, it’s about supporting the systems that nourish your skin from inside.
Everyone could use this honestly.

Gut health and acne connection: what does the research actually show?
Research into the gut-skin axis is growing. A 2025 study found associations between specific gut microbiota and acne risk, adding to evidence that the gut microbiome may play a role in acne development.
This doesn’t mean every case of acne starts in the gut, but it does give us another piece of the picture when looking at persistent inflammatory skin concerns.
