Beginner tip for PMU Artists: if you’re not comfortable with pendulum, don’t do it❗️I was once a beginner and based off of experience I can tell you that when I first started out with machine shading, the pendulum movement felt too advanced for my beginner hands. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using one-directional whips 💞 get comfortable with whipping both directions before moving on to master pendulum movements 🫶🏼

A few months ago, I shared this client’s before and after along with a little backstory 🍿

5 years ago, she originally came to me wanting hairstrokes. At the time, the only hairstroke method I offered was Microblading. Unfortunately, after she healed from her first appointment, literally *none* of it stayed in her skin 😭

A few months ago (again, 5 years later), she came back and gave me another chance 🥹

She still wanted hairstrokes, but knowing that her skin hadn’t retained Microblading well, I chose a different method this time: Nano Brows.

And THIS was the result 🥳

The takeaway? My technique EVOLVED ✨

Microblading is still a technique that I absolutely love and adore, but as we’ve continued to learn and evolve as artists, we now understand that it isn’t the right method for every client.

For her skin, Microblading didn’t work.

But Nano DID ✨
