I chose the name BeYouLocs, because when you rock your locs, you should feel empowered, confident, and unique. Your hair should reflect you!

I’ve always been fascinated with locs since a little girl. I knew I’d loc it up one day. I actually DIY’d my own locs before earning my Sisterlocks Trainee Certification, and I told myself I was going to love them no matter how they turned out.

Don’t forget to just Be You. Trying to make your hair look like someone else’s isn’t what Microlocs or Sisterlocks are about. Your locs are a part of your journey, and that’s what makes them beautiful.

You are unique, and no one can rock your locs the way you do! 🖤

‘Think you can only do black in the fall or winter? If so, think again! You can do whatever color you like with Sisterlocks or Microlocs🖤as long as you take care of your Locs - your locs will be beautiful with any color you choose 🖤
I’ve contemplated should or shouldn’t I go back to black ?! Well, it was a no brainer for me ! Black is healthy, classy, and sleek. It’s easier to maintain and there are tons of “shades of black”. It’s looks great on brown skin and adds that POP to melanated complexions.
Tip: If your Microlocs are on the less density side, black or darker colors can make them appear thicker and fuller . Back to Black for the win! 🖤

This is what 8 weeks of growth looks like for my client. Sometimes life gets hectic and we fall off from the earth. This retie was so necessary! We both decided not to ever go 8 weeks again! 4-6 weeks is recommended when you have Sisterlocks- if you’ve new to Sisterlocks 4 week maximum until they mature.

7 months in! Time has flown by and these Sisterlocks are flourishing!
