I entered one of the biggest PMU competitions in the world... and didn’t tell a soul. 🤫

After 7 years in the permanent makeup industry, I wanted to see how far I could push my limits when no one was watching. Only my husband, my mom, and my son knew. No announcements. HOW TO CREATE SOFT HAIRSTROKES — PART 1 ✍🏻

If you’re struggling with strokes that look too dark or heavy, start with your counting technique.

Instead of moving your hand randomly, count as you move through each stroke. This helps you control your hand speed, consistency, and pressure so every stroke comes out softer and more even.

I’m currently attending a major PMU event, and it’s a powerful reminder that there is always something new to learn.
The beauty industry evolves every single day with new trends, advanced techniques, upgraded tools, and unique approaches from artists all over the world. Being here doesn't just show me the immense growth of our industry; it highlights the areas where I can push myself to be even better.
Especially as an educator, I feel a deep responsibility to constantly upgrade my knowledge.
For myself: The day I think I have nothing left to learn is the day I should step down from teaching.
For my students: I absolutely never want to limit your potential strictly to the boundaries of what I know right now.
Always remember, your very first class is just the beginning of a lifelong journey!
