Half a syringe. Thirteen months since her last appointment. This is what a touch-up is supposed to look like.

Not a bigger lip β€” the same shape she already had, just restored before it fully wore off. That's the whole point of staying ahead of it instead of starting over.

Her first lip filler, fresh out of the chair.

This is same-day, so some of that fullness is swelling and will settle over the next couple weeks. What won't change: the shape. Even border, defined cupid's bow, no duck-lip overfill.

First time doing this β€” nervous, or ready?

She came in wanting more brow symmetry. Two weeks post-botox, that's exactly what she got.

Forehead and glabella treated together, dosed to let the brows sit even and lifted rather than flat β€” not just softening lines, but correcting the imbalance that was pulling one side down.

This is the exact 5-step routine I use on myself. No extra steps, no gimmicks.

Its secret weapon? Resilient hyaluronic acid β€” it's in every single layer, and it's the only reason a routine this short still works this hard.

Bakuchiol stands in for retinol so my skin doesn't protest it. Vitamin C keeps tone even. Deep repair balm locks it all in at the end.

What's missing from your routine right now?

softer 11s, same her 🀍

she sent me this a few weeks after her appointment and i may have done a little happy dance.

the goal: relax the frown muscle enough that those two lines between the brows stop setting up shop every time she concentrates.

the result: when she frowns now, they barely show. the muscle just isn't pulling the way it used to.

the part i care about most: she still looks like herself. her brows still move and her face still has expression. botox done well should leave you looking rested, not different.

If we're talking about your treatment, we're talking about the risks too. Every single time. 🀍

That isn't me trying to scare you or talk you out of anything. It's me making sure that when you say yes, you know exactly what you're saying yes to.

Every treatment carries some risk. Botox, filler, lasers, all of it. Most side effects are mild and temporary, like a little swelling, a bruise, or a day of redness. A few are rare but real. You deserve to hear about both from me, not from Google at 2am.

Informed feels better than nervous. Before aesthetics, I spent eighteen years in medicine, and one thing held true the whole time: patients who understand their treatment feel calmer in the chair and more confident in their results.

It helps me know what's right for you. That conversation tells me about your health history and your goals, and whether a treatment makes sense for you right now. Sometimes the honest answer is "you don't need that," and I'll tell you that too.

My goal is for you to walk out feeling educated, confident, and taken care of.

What's one thing you wish a provider had explained to you before a treatment? πŸ‘‡

Britt’s Friday Fav πŸ¦‡βœ¨

Okayyy these light-up bats might be one of my favorite Halloween finds this year. I added them to my shelves and I’m OBSESSED. They give the cutest spooky glow without being too much, and I love how they look mixed in with my everyday decor. πŸ–€

They come as a set of 2 in two different sizes, are battery operated, and come with a remote so you can adjust the brightness. Just perfect for Spooky Season πŸ‘»πŸ¦‡β˜ οΈπŸŽƒ. Link in stories and comments !

Laser packages sell fast this time of year. But if you're buying six sessions before anyone has looked at your skin, you're paying for a guess.

Your skin type changes the plan. Deeper skin tones carry a higher risk of dark spots after some heat-based lasers. That doesn't rule laser out. It means the device, the settings and the timing have to be chosen for you, not pulled off a menu.

Some concerns need a different approach. Melasma, for example, can get worse with the wrong kind of heat. What looks like "just sun spots" to you might need something else entirely.

Your history matters too. Recent sun exposure, certain medications and past reactions can all change what's safe and when. That's a conversation, not a checkbox.

Sometimes the right answer is Sylfirm X, sometimes it's Clear + Brilliant or CO2, and sometimes it's medical-grade skincare first. You won't know which until someone actually looks.

The easiest way to keep that dewy, sun-kissed glow into fall, without the sun. Meet the Sofia bronzer.

The perfect colour. It's a warm, soft bronze that looks like your skin on its best day, not like makeup sitting on top of it. No orange and no muddy streaks, just a natural warmth.

That creamy texture. It melts right in and blends out with your fingers, a brush or a sponge. Because it's a cream, it keeps skin looking dewy instead of flat and powdery, which is exactly what you want once the air turns dry.

An everyday staple. Swipe it on your cheekbones, temples and along your jawline and you're done in under a minute. It's quick enough for school drop-off and pretty enough for date night.

Your glow doesn't have to end when summer does. πŸ‚
