Today I’m celebrating my forever hero, my biggest supporter, and one of the people who loves me the most, my dad! Thank you for always cheering me on, making me smile, believing in me, and reminding me that I can do anything I set my mind to.

🖤❤️💚 Happy Juneteenth! ❤️💚🖤
Today, I celebrate freedom, history, and the strength of those who came before me. Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is precious and that we should never stop learning about the sacrifices, courage, and resilience of our ancestors.
As a young author, I believe stories help us remember where we came from and inspire us to create a brighter future. I am proud to be a young Black girl with big dreams, standing on the shoulders of so many trailblazers who made opportunities like mine possible.
Today, I honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a future filled with hope, unity, and endless possibilities.
✨ Dream big.
✨ Learn your history.
✨ Celebrate your culture.
✨ Be proud of who you are.
Happy Juneteenth from your friend,
Carsyn Elyse Davis 💕📚
🎹✨ Carsyn’s Virtual Piano Recital ✨🎹
Although I wasn’t able to attend my piano recital in person this year, I’m so thankful that I still had the opportunity to participate!
During recital week, my family was in Washington, D.C., honoring my cousin, Deputy Martin L. Shields, Jr., during National Police Week. While I was sad to miss performing live with my fellow piano students, my wonderful piano teacher, Mrs. B, made sure I didn’t miss out completely by helping me pre-record my recital piece before we left.
I am so grateful for Mrs. B’s patience, encouragement, and dedication. Thank you for always supporting me and helping me continue to grow as a musician. ❤️
I hope you enjoy my virtual recital performance! 🎶🎹

🎭🦁 What a Wild Adventure at First Stages Camp! 🦓🐧
Wow! What an incredible experience I had at New Stage Theatre’s First Stages Camp this summer! Over the past few weeks, I learned so much about acting, teamwork, stage presence, and bringing a character to life.
I was honored to play Maurice in Madagascar, and it was so much fun stepping into the role of King Julien’s loyal and wise sidekick! From rehearsals to costume fittings to our final performance, every moment was filled with laughter, learning, and new friendships.
A huge thank you to the amazing directors, instructors, and staff at New Stage Theatre for helping all of us grow in confidence and creativity. Thank you to my family and friends who came out to support me and cheer me on from the audience. Your encouragement means so much!
Being on stage reminded me that it’s okay to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new. I can’t wait for my next theater adventure!
🎭✨ “Move it, move it!” ✨🎭
🌟🦁🐒🐧🦓
🇺🇸❤️ Today I’m remembering and honoring the brave heroes who gave their lives protecting our country and our freedom. Memorial Day is more than cookouts and a day off from work—it’s about saying thank you to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I’ve learned that heroes come in many forms, and because of my family’s journey honoring the legacy of my cousin, Deputy Martin Shields, Jr., I know how important it is to remember those who served and sacrificed. ❤️💙
Today my family and I pause to remember, reflect, and say: We will never forget. 🇺🇸✨
