Day two of the nor’easter 🌧️
We knew the forecast was supposed to be worse than the day before… and it definitely was. A very wet setup, a lot of pivoting, and still such a beautiful day.
Also it was our first black + white wedding of the year and we loved how clean, modern and timeless everything came together for E+B 🖤🤍
And with that… we’re officially onto our final FIVE weddings of the season!

A summer sunset by the sea. 🐚
That feeling was the foundation of Maddy + Ryan’s wedding from the very beginning. Soft blues, warm peaches, natural textures and little nods to coastal Newport woven throughout.
We started with their invitation suite, using a custom illustration of Belle Mer Island House, a watercolor sunset envelope liner, soft watercolor details and scalloped + shell-shaped pieces to set the tone for what guests would experience in July.
And then we carried that same visual story into the wedding day.
Their seating chart, ceremony fans, and menus all featured the same watercolor sunset artwork from their envelope liners. Their ceremony seating markers used the same shell as their reply card in the invitation suite.
The palette was meant to feel like a summer sunset and somehow the actual day delivered exactly that. 💙

Three years in a row 🤍

Last night’s seating chart install is a forever fav 💙
With views of the harbor following guests from the ceremony to cocktail hour and into the reception, every detail was designed to feel right at home by the water. The personalized sailboat detailing, complete with their wedding date, felt especially perfect displayed against the real sailboats just beyond it.
A seating chart that didn’t just direct guests to their tables, but truly belonged in the setting. ⛵️
