Psi Pi Omega Chapter

We came together through sisterhood and we stay connected through membership and love.

Sisterhood and Membership planned a fun and memorable evening filled with laughter, fellowship, and sisterhood.

We celebrated the rich history, legacy, and enduring impact of our Historically Black Colleges and Universities, a legacy that transcends generations. Whether you’ve spent a day, a semester, earned a degree, or simply hold a deep appreciation for these treasured institutions, we celebrated the important place HBCUs hold in our collective history, a history especially meaningful to us. The very beginnings of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® are forever rooted in the HBCU experience, making this celebration of culture, education, legacy, and sisterhood all the more special.

A Different World. Different campuses. Different journeys. One shared legacy. One beautiful sisterhood. 💗💚

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Soror Barbara Ann Harris, one of the esteemed Charter Members of Psi Pi Omega Chapter. We extend our heartfelt condolences, prayers, and love to Soror Barbara’s family, loved ones, and all who were blessed to know her.

As a Charter Member, Soror Barbara holds a special place in the history and legacy of Psi Pi Omega. Although, she had entered a season in which she was unable to serve and participate as she once had, those who knew her knew just how deeply she loved her PPO.

Her connection to this chapter and her love for our sisterhood remained steadfast, and we will forever be grateful for her service, commitment, and the role she played in helping establish the foundation upon which we continue to build today.

Rest peacefully, Soror Barbara. Your PPO will remember you with love. 🕊️
