We've worked with many restaurants and enterprise cafes to create memorable custom installations. These displays have to be more than interesting focal points; they need to serve a real purpose in fast-paced dining rooms. For many of our clients, their Split Flap becomes the core of their brand identity.

Julith Coffee in Dubai features a cobalt-blue display accented with custom-colored flaps. The board fits perfectly within their brand palette and is often featured on their social media. Meanwhile, Buck & Rider makes Split Flap the star at all their Arizona locations, using it as an interactive menu.

Just when you thought we were done talking about evergreen content... here we are. One post wasn't enough to describe the endless opportunities of Chroma Flap AND Split Flap. With Chroma Flap, there's no limit to the number of imagery, photos, illustrations, and artworks you can upload to Portal, our CMS.

Throughout the last 60+ days of 101 ways to use our analog tech, we've covered Chroma Flap uses that range from reimagining landscapes to translating brand photos to creating a colorful mural that transitions and moves.

DAY #68: Split Flap + Algorithm for Evergreen Content

When investing in a commercial Split Flap, a lot of brands ask the same question: What if I run out of things to say? Thankfully, we have a robust content library with a TON of templates to choose from, so your Split Flap is ready to use from day one. DAY #67: Algorithm for Experiential Design

We've talked A LOT about Split Flap, Picture Flap, and Chroma Flap over the last 60+ days. The missing piece of the puzzle: Algorithm. Oat Foundry's Algorithm was inspired by a desire to make our displays accessible for guests and visitors... without brands losing control over the messaging.

We use our office Algorithm as a dashboard for all things Philadelphia. With six unique "local attractions" categories, guests turn the dials for Oat Foundry-approved recommendations for dining, shopping, and the outdoors, which instantly appear on the connected Split Flap. Algorithm can also be used with Picture Flap or Chroma Flap for curated brand experiences.

Split Flap has been used at dispensaries like Rise and The Citizens by Klutch to rotate through a showcase of available strains, accessories, limited releases, and loyalty perks, using easy-to-read mechanical signage. Our companion technology, Algorithm, is a common add-on, with brands looking to further customize the retail experience.

DAY #64: Chroma Flap for Pixel-Style Landscapes

Back in the early days of the home desktop computer, users were soothed by a calming field and brilliant blue sky. The Windows XP wallpaper is actually a real field in California, captured via color Fujifilm by photographer Charles O'Rear. Now, the wallpaper on monitors and screens doesn't really have the same magic, especially for large-scale installations. Cue Chroma Flap. In addition to all of the wonderful features to our "moving mural", upload landscape imagery to get a stunning, pixel-style display.
