Opening week could’ve been a massive flop lol instead of ghosting the 70 brides sitting on my waitlist I said

But also I didn’t wanna get my hopes up that I’d book all 70 of these brides so I ran my numbers using the 20% conversion rate average in sales.

Annnd I planned for 14 bookings, even one would be a win for me tbh 😆

When your income is unpredictable you enter survival mode. And running a businsss in survival mode led me rightttt into shiny object syndrome 🥴

But there is something we can do to create predictable income year after year, generate cashflow during the winter without working weddings or taking a second job.

Something that allows you to take time off, relax and enjoy your slow season instead of fearing it.

Can we normalize setting realistic expectations for ourselves? What I really see happening is:

You get either ghosted, hit with budget objections back to back and you instantly think

THIS ISNT WORKING ANYMORE🫠

So then you’ll do something ~new~
Maybe switch your entire email responses
Or post totally different content

When in reality you’re not letting anything compound and your expectations are dysregulating tf outta your nervous system.

Sales is the hardest part of our job tbh. Remember though booking at 20% looks like booking every 1 in 5 inquiries you’re available for.

That means you’ll get 4 no’s. Set that as your expectations🫶🏼 then when you book 3 out of 5 youll be like wow I am THAT GIRLLLL👏🏻
