Don’t forget to pet your dog.
Somewhere between the supplement schedule and the training plan, between the bodywork techniques and the feeding guide and the next thing on the to-do list, we stopped doing the one thing our dogs actually asked for.
They don’t know what glucosamine is. They don’t wonder about protocols. They don’t care if we get it perfect.
They just want us sitting with them; nothing to fix, nothing to improve, just touch and time.
We’ve gotten so good at taking care of our dogs that we forgot the simplest thing they actually need from us.
So put down the to-do list and just be with them, because to your dog, that’s the only thing that ever mattered.
Don’t forget to pet your dog today. 💚

Happy Independence Day! 🐾🇺🇸
This is the work.
Waldrup Somatic Method came out today and worked with Yatzi and Nash. I took her Pro Series course because nervous system health isn’t separate from holistic wellness, it’s central to it. Bodywork, nutrition, regulation, it all connects. A body that knows how to come back to balance is a body that needs less intervention.

Honored to be featured this week by IAHAP, the International Association of Holistic Animal Practitioners.
This community gets it. The work I do with Revive & Thrive Canine isn't one-size-fits-all, and it isn't just physical. It's behavioral, emotional, and whole-dog. That's exactly what IAHAP values in the practitioners they support and spotlight.
If you've ever wondered why I approach wellness the way I do, why I can't look at a dog's body without also looking at how they move, how they communicate, and what they're carrying, this is a good window into that.
Thank you to IAHAP for the kind words and for building a community of practitioners who refuse to cut corners. 🐾🌿🌊
✨ Member Spotlight - Denise Bozenski, Revive and Thrive Canine
This week, we are excited to feature Denise Bozenski of Revive and Thrive Canine.
Denise brings a truly unique approach to canine wellness by blending an extensive background in dog training with a wide range of holistic modalities.
Her work goes far beyond surface-level care.
By understanding behavior, movement, and communication, she is able to look at each dog as a whole - not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
This allows her to create a more complete and thoughtful approach to care, supporting dogs in a way that addresses multiple layers of their well-being.
Denise’s practice reflects what we value deeply within IAHAP:
Practitioners who are willing to bridge disciplines, continue learning, and approach their work with both knowledge and compassion.
Her ability to integrate training with holistic therapies creates a powerful foundation for long-term results and stronger human-animal relationships.
We are proud to have Denise as part of the IAHAP community.

🐶✨ New Year. Whole-Dog Wellness. 2026 Resolutions for Your Dog. ✨
As we finish the first week of 2026, it’s the perfect time to set fresh intentions for your dog’s wellness if you haven’t already. Holistic care isn’t a trend, it’s a foundation for long-term health, happiness, and vitality. In our latest blog, we explore 5 key resolutions that support dogs from the inside out; nutrition, mental enrichment, physical resilience, rest, and ongoing care.
🎯 Here’s what you’ll discover in the blog:
🐾 Prioritize Foundational Nutrition- Opt for whole, minimally processed foods tailored to your dog’s needs and boost digestion, immunity, skin, and energy.
🧠 Commit to Mental Enrichment- Puzzle toys, scent work, training, and new games help reduce anxiety and keep your dog’s brain sharp.
💪 Support Recovery & Injury Prevention- Gentle bodywork, stretching, and myofascial release can improve mobility and comfort.
😴 Establish Consistent Rest Routines- Quality sleep and predictable rest spaces are crucial for healing and resilience.
📅 Schedule Annual Holistic Health Check-Ins- Work with a certified canine wellness coach or holistic vet to stay ahead of subtle changes and adapt your dog’s wellness plan.
💡 Holistic resolutions aren’t about perfection, they’re about mindful, proactive care that helps your dog thrive in every season of life.

A reminder for devoted pet parents. 🩵
There is so much information out there right now.
What to feed. What to avoid. What supplements to add. What bowls to use. How to clean. What you should be doing…all the time.
And while it all comes from a place of love, trying to implement everything can quickly become overwhelming.
Here’s the part we don’t talk about enough:
👉 When you’re stressed, your pet feels it too.
Dogs are incredibly intuitive. Your energy becomes their environment. When worry, guilt, and pressure take over, it can quietly add to their nervous system load, especially for sensitive, healing, or anxious dogs.
At Revive & Thrive Canine Wellness, we believe in intentional care, not constant correction.
Do what you can.
Choose what feels sustainable.
Support your dog in ways that fit your life.
And when the information starts to consume you:
✨ Pause
✨ Breathe
✨ Take a step back
Sometimes less is more, and consistency beats perfection every time.
Your calm presence is one of the most powerful tools you can offer your dog. 🐾

🐾 Did You Know Cupping Therapy Is for Dogs Too? 🐾
You’ve probably seen cupping in humans, now imagine the gentle, whole-body support it can offer our canine companions! 🐶✨
Cupping isn’t a trend, it’s an ancient wellness practice that uses gentle suction to boost circulation, support the lymphatic system, and help relieve muscle tension in dogs.
💫 What Makes Cupping So Special?
✔️ Supports circulation and helps the body move nutrients more effectively
✔️ Encourages relaxation of tight muscles and connective tissue
✔️ Enhances lymphatic drainage, helping the body clear waste naturally
✔️ Complements other gentle bodywork therapies like massage or acupressure
✔️ Most dogs find it soothing and may even relax into it during a session!
It’s non-invasive and can be part of a holistic wellness plan for dogs experiencing stiffness, recovery from injury, or just in need of some deeper tissue support.
👩⚕️ Cupping targets fascial layers, something traditional massage can’t always reach, helping support natural comfort and mobility.
✨ Interested in exploring this for your dog?
Whether you’re curious about how cupping fits into a whole-body wellness plan or want to know what a session looks like, I’m here to answer your questions! 🐕🌼

COMING SOON - The Elite K9 Wellness Protocol
Working K9s give everything they have, but the truth is…not nearly enough is being done to protect their long-term health.
These dogs absorb stress, push through pain, and perform at extreme levels, yet most handlers are never taught how to support them beyond the basics. Longevity isn’t luck. It’s strategy. And it should be built intentionally into every working dog’s daily routine.
That’s why I’ve created a program that teaches handlers how to care for their partners on a completely new level- through nutrition, recovery practices, supplementation, injury prevention, mental well-being, and long-term planning. This system is designed to extend working years and improve quality of life.
To help handlers get started right now, I’m also releasing a Working K9 Wellness Checklist- a simple but powerful tool to help you identify gaps in your dog’s current care and start building better habits today.
For the dogs who give everything, this is the future of working K9 care.
