Miss Aspen had a busy morning with both PT and OT today, and mama is SO proud of her! 🥹💕 She’s doing so well with both therapies and continues to amaze me every single day. 💪🏻🎀

Our little miracle is still fighting every single day. Aspen has been through more in her first year of life than most of us could ever imagine—from being born extremely premature, battling E. coli meningitis and severe brain damage, to living with complex medical needs and hydrocephalus.

Her journey is far from over. There are still medical appointments, therapies, equipment, medications, travel expenses, and unexpected costs that come with caring for our precious girl. 🥺💜

Good morning from my sweet baby girl and me. 💕🙏

Miss Aspen had a pretty decent night last night with no episodes, and for that I am incredibly thankful. I’m praying we continue to have good, peaceful days like this.

Yesterday, after Aspen’s godmomma left and got home, she texted me to let me know that she wasn’t feeling well. Honestly, I didn’t notice that she was feeling bad while she was here. Normally, when she comes to spend time with Aspen, I try to step back a little and use that time to catch up on everything I need to get done.

She always wears a mask and gloves, especially when she is touching or caring for Aspen. She worries about Aspen just as much as I do and loves her so very much. I truly don’t believe that if she had been feeling bad yesterday morning, she would have come around Aspen because she knows how easily our sweet girl can get sick.

For now, we’re going to stay home, keep our distance from others, and continue monitoring Aspen closely. I’m praying this is nothing more than a little something and that Aspen continues feeling good and staying strong. 🙏💗

Please keep my sweet girl in your thoughts and prayers. We are trusting God to continue watching over her, protecting her, and giving her strength each and every day. 💕🙏

🌞💗 Good morning from Miss Aspen and I! 💗🌞

Miss Aspen has been an early bird this morning and is already wide awake and ready to take on the day! 😂💕 She has been awake since 3:00 AM hollering at her mama, so I guess she decided nobody was getting any extra sleep today! 😂

I got myself up and dressed a little earlier this morning because we have quite a bit to get done before her 8:30 AM appointment. Between getting her ready, getting all of her treatments done, getting her packed up and ready to go, and somehow getting myself ready too, this mama has a busy morning ahead! 😅

Today, Miss Aspen is headed to see the orthopedic doctor. We’re going to talk about getting her a few things that may help with her mobility, positioning, and overall comfort. I’m really hoping everything goes well and that we can move forward with getting Aspen the equipment and support she needs to help her continue progressing. 💗🙏

Please keep my sweet girl in your prayers today as we head to her appointment. We’re praying for good news, helpful answers, and that God continues to open the right doors for her. 🙏💕

Please go before Aspen and I today. Guide the doctors and everyone involved in her care, and give them wisdom to know exactly what she needs. Please help us find the right equipment and support to help Aspen with her mobility and comfort.

Wrap your loving arms around my sweet girl today. Keep her safe, comfortable, and protected. Give her strength for everything she faces and give Mama strength, patience, and peace as we navigate another busy day.

Lord, please continue to make a way for Aspen, even when the road feels difficult. Remind us that You are always with us and that we never walk this journey alone.
