You planned a 45-minute workout. Then the meeting ran over, your flight was delayed, someone in your family needed you, and suddenly you only had 20 minutes. So you skipped it altogether. Sound familiar?
Here’s what I want my clients to remember: 20 minutes still counts. So does the walk between meetings, the hotel gym workout and the strength session you had to cut short. Your results aren’t built by one perfect workout. They’re built by all those smaller choices adding up over time. Stop asking, “Can I do it all?” Start asking, “What CAN I do today?”
60 seconds. That’s it. You may not be able to control your calendar, but you can change how you enter the next room.

Somehow we’ve normalized calendars with no space to think, eat lunch, refill a water bottle or even go to the bathroom and then we wonder why we’re exhausted before the workday is over.
I’m not suggesting you suddenly decline every meeting on your calendar. I live in this world too. Sometimes the meetings are necessary.
But not every open space on your calendar needs to be filled.
Before you hit “accept,” ask whether you actually need to be there. Protect a little white space. Your work will be better for it.
And your bladder will thank you.
Proof that a high-protein dinner doesn’t have to be boring or complicated.
These Ground Turkey Greek Bowls are loaded with seasoned turkey, rice, fresh veggies, feta and tzatziki, and they’re exactly my kind of weeknight meal: easy, filling and full of flavor.
Because supporting your performance doesn’t require a perfect diet. Sometimes it just requires having a few really good meals you can make on repeat.

Corporate women: if you could step away from the meetings, deadlines, travel and constant responsibility for a few days to actually reset…would you?
Welcome to Week 10 of Side Hustle to CEO, where I’m learning that one of the dangers of entrepreneurship is there’s no one around to tell you your “great idea” might be a little crazy. Mine? A women’s retreat in Costa Rica built around movement, recovery, connection and actually having space to breathe. So tell me: would you go? And what would make a retreat like this worth saying YES to?
Saturday Taste Test: TJ Maxx made us do it.
We randomly found these chocolate-dipped fruit snacks at TJ Maxx and obviously they had to come home with us.
White chocolate strawberries.
Caramel apple + dark chocolate.
Dark chocolate pineapple.
Some sounded better than others…and some definitely were better than others.
We test it so you know if it’s worth it.
Which one would you grab first?

Well…there are almost 2,000 more of you here than there were not that long ago, so I think we need to officially meet.
I’m Lyndi. I’ve spent 25+ years in corporate America, I have a degree in Exercise Science, I’m a certified nutrition coach and yoga teacher and somewhere along the way I realized all of those parts of my life weren’t separate at all.
They became TriG Human Performance.
This page is for ambitious women who still want big careers, big goals and full lives, but don’t believe success should require sacrificing themselves to get there.
You’ll still find the recipes, workouts, taste tests and real-life trials and tribulations that many of you originally followed me for. But we’re also going deeper into nutrition, movement, stress, recovery and what it actually takes to sustain high performance in real life.
Grit. Gratitude. Grace.
If you’re new here, tell me something about YOU below. And if you’ve been here since the Midlife Mood, Food & Fitness days…I definitely want to know that too.

Turns out human performance can look a lot like this, too.
No workouts. No perfectly planned routine. Just a whole lot of walking (hello, 30,000-step days), exploring, eating good food and spending time with the people I love.
And honestly, that feels aligned with TriG.
Grit is knowing when to push.
Gratitude is recognizing how lucky you are to have moments like these.
Grace is knowing a few days away from your routine doesn’t undo anything you’ve built.
Human performance isn’t about performing every single day. It’s about building a body and a life that let you fully show up for what matters.
This week, that meant the UK with my family. I’d make that trade every time.
