Choosing the colors might be one of the hardest parts…
For our fuzzy friends, I wanted each one to have its own personality, so I’m playing around with different felt and thread combinations.
Sometimes matching your thread to the felt creates a softer, more subtle look. Other times, a contrasting thread makes those little stitched details really pop.
After a little experimenting, I think we found the perfect palette for our little owl.

Welcome to FELTY FUZZY FRIENDS: From Felt to Friend, a six-part creative series where I’ll be turning colorful felt, thread, and tiny details into some seriously cute little friends.

We’ll be choosing colors, shaping felt, experimenting with tiny details, adding hand embroidery, and giving each friend its own personality.

And I’m taking you along for the whole process! From the very first piece of felt to the finished fuzzy friend.
