Baby it’s hot outside 🥵

I love a cozy cup of herbal tea but when Oklahoma heat starts doing the most you’ll usually find me reaching for my tinctures instead.

They make it easy for me to continue supporting my wellness without sipping on a hot drink when it’s already 95° outside.

Herbalism isn’t about finding one plant that does everything. It’s about getting to know the plants and building a toolkit that supports your unique body.

These are the herbs that support me through the summer months, from calming racing thoughts and easing cramps to digestive support and seasonal wellness.

This is just a quick look inside my herbal cabinet. I break down every tincture I take, why I use it, and when I reach for it in my full YT video.

Watch: Inside My Herbal Cabinet Ep. 1 | Every Tincture I Take & Why I Use It

Which herb caught your attention the most? Do you switch from teas to tinctures in the summer or are you team hot tea all year long? Let me know in the comments!!!!

Before the Pharmacy… There Was the Garden. 🌱🌿

For thousands of years, people turned to the plants growing around them to support their health.

🌿 Elderberry for seasonal wellness
🌿 Nettle leaf for nourishment and iron support
🌿 Lavender to encourage rest and relaxation
🌿 Calendula to soothe and comfort the skin
🌿 Chamomile to promote calm

Modern medicine has changed the world, but it didn’t erase the wisdom found in God’s creation.

I’m not anti-medicine. I’m pro-learning. The more we understand both modern medicine and traditional herbalism, the more informed our wellness choices can be.

Which of these herbs have you actually tried? Or which one are you curious about? Tell me in the comments!

There’s something deeply satisfying about taking simple ingredients God created and turning them into something that comforts the body.

This week I experimented with homemade lemon ginger herbal lozenges. 🍯🌿

From simmering the herbs to pouring the molds and wrapping each one by hand, every batch taught me something new.

I’m still a student of herbalism, and that’s one of my favorite parts of the journey. Every recipe is another lesson. Every success (and every sticky countertop 😂) gets me one step closer to becoming the herbalist God called me to be.

What herbal remedy have you always wanted to learn to make?

POV: When You Know The “Weeds” Are Actually Medicine

🌼 Harvesting little golden sunbursts from the earth today 🌼✨

There’s something deeply grounding about gathering your own medicine with your own hands. Dandelions may look ordinary to some, but to herbalists? Pure treasure. 💛

Learning the plants. Trusting God’s creation. Returning to slower rhythms one flower at a time.
