A small portion of my weekend recap….😊 One of my clients is from Senegal, a country in West Africa. Instead of hosting what we call baby showers, they host a “Ngente.” The ngente is a naming ceremony in which family and friends gather at the home of the new parents one week after the child is born. The parents receive gifts and provide food for the guests. I loved seeing all the different colors of fabric and head wraps, the women are so beautiful and melanated 🥰👌🏾🇲🇱
