Small home based Christian business owner. I am a follower of Christ, a wife, a mother, a grandmother and daughter, and a business owner in that order.
My soap making journey began many years ago. I was always fascinated with handcrafted soaps. I loved the look and smell of them. I’d buy a bar here and there through the years, but never until about 5 or so years ago, did I understand how much better these handcrafted soaps were for your skin. The so-called “soap” from the store that you get has added chemicals, and is actually detergents, and has a key soap component taken out (glycerin). So I began my own soap making journey, as first a new hobby, to fill some soon to be free time(I homeschooled my children-that journey would soon be ending). After researching commercially made “soaps”, that just escalated my desire to make my own soaps and other bath/body products. I then decided to share my soaps first with family and friends, with the then ultimate goal to start a small business.
