A new month is another opportunity to pause, reset, grow, and trust God with what’s ahead. 🙏🏽❤️ As we step into October, my prayer is that this month brings you peace, purpose, healthy growth, answered prayers, and blessings that remind you that God is still working!
Don’t rush the process. Don’t compare your journey. Don’t give up on what God placed in you. Even though time isn’t long and we can see the biblical signs……..There is STILL time to become, build, heal, grow, and walk boldly into everything He has for you. BUT DONT DELAY IT ANY LONGER 👑✨

Let’s talk about something that’s SO important during your loc journey: TRUST. 🔒🤎
If you’re not self-maintaining your locs, building a trusting relationship with your Loctician is HUGE. But trust doesn’t mean you can’t ask questions! 👀
Please don’t be afraid to ask your Loctician WHY they’re recommending something, how it benefits your hair, or even respectfully challenge an idea or concept you may not fully understand. That communication is important! 🗣️✨
Your Loctician should be educating you, and you should feel comfortable having conversations about your crown. At the same time, your Loctician needs to trust that you’re listening, communicating, and doing your part between appointments.
This journey requires trust from BOTH parties. 🤝🏾

It’s OKAY to change your mind about your locs! 🔒✨
Maybe you want to go from traditional locs ➡️ microlocs, microlocs ➡️ traditional locs, cut those long locs shorter, change up the style, or even decide that you don’t want locs anymore. That’s YOUR journey! 🤎
Your hair is allowed to evolve as YOU evolve. Just make sure the decision is truly what you want to see at the end of the day—not something you’re doing because of outside pressure.

Stop looking at somebody else’s locs and wondering, “Why don’t mine look like that?” Your hair, your density, your texture, your timeline, and your journey are YOUR OWN. 🤎
You can admire somebody else’s locs without turning around and talking negatively about your own. Because constantly comparing can leave you discouraged and unable to appreciate the progress happening right on your head!
