Anyone can learn to hypnotize someone. The hard part is what you do once they're in the hypnotic state. That's the work taught here.

For years, clients would leave my office calmer than they walked in, and then email me days later: "I wish I had your voice with me at 3am."

Here's the honest truth about this work. The hardest moments never happen in my office. They happen at midnight, in the car before a hard conversation, in the middle of a panic attack when there's no one to call.

And I have to be honest about something else, too. I have boundaries. Most practitioners do, and we should. I let my clients email me, but I'm not answering at 3am when the panic hits.

That's not how healthy care works, for them or for me. But it never sat right with me that the moment someone needed this most was the exact moment I couldn't be there.

So I built something that can be. A free library of guided hypnosis recordings for sleep, anxiety, stress, and focus, with a binaural beats generator to deepen every session. The work I do with clients, in your pocket, for the moments I can't be in the room.

This was the most genuine way I knew to take care of people. Really take care of them.

Free for a limited time. Love it? Share it with someone who needs it.

Jim Curtis and I used to own a spa together. That was years before this book, before any of this.

When I asked him to write the foreword for Advanced Hypnosis, I wasn't worried about whether he'd say yes. I was worried about what someone who has watched me work over many years would actually say when given a manuscript to respond to honestly.

This is what he wrote: "Alexandra stands at the top of her field not just because of what she knows, but because of how she sees."

He didn't write that I know a lot. He wrote about how I see. There's a difference. The honor isn't being praised for what you've accumulated. The honor is being seen by someone who has known you long enough to recognize the actual work you do.

Sixteen years in, that's the recognition that lands. This means a lot.

For practitioners reading this who teach, mentor, or do session work: the people whose recognition will matter most over a long career are the ones who know you well enough to see the substance, not the surface. Build those relationships.
