Meditation is like ‘a holiday of the heart’ - Ajahn Chah

I read this in Ajahn Sumedho Dhamma’s talk.

It made my heart smile :).

I wish your heart a holiday and I hope you will find a moment to pause, feel you feet on the ground.

Connect with your breath.

I call this mini vacation no matter where you are.

The Sculpture is from New York Insight Meditation Center.

Freedom From. Freedom For.

Last 8 month or so I’m slowly reading Will Parfitt’s The Journey of Psychosynthesis: Lessons in Self-Awareness and Making Your Best Choices, and one idea I would like to share with you to reflect this summer time.

Freedom from.Freedom for.

We often think of freedom as being free from something:

From fear. From expectations. From old patterns. From obligations. From the things that no longer feel like us.

And yes, there is freedom in letting go.

But Parfitt invites us to consider another question:

What is your freedom for?

Because freedom isn't only about what we leave behind.

It is also about what we choose to move toward.

Freedom for love.Freedom for creativity.Freedom for curiosity.Freedom for becoming who we are.Freedom for making choices that come from within, rather than from habit, fear, or someone else's expectations.

I've been thinking about how easy it is to spend years trying to get away from something, only to discover that we haven't yet asked ourselves where we actually want to go.

Maybe true freedom requires both:

Freedom from what binds us.Freedom for what calls us.

So, as part of my summer reading, I want to leave you with a question:

What are you trying to be free from?

And perhaps the more important one:

What do you want to be free for?

I have a feeling the second question may tell us much more about the life we are ready to create.

And now I'm curious about your summer reading. 📚☀️

What have you been reading this summer? And what inspiring idea, question, or passage has stayed with you?

Share it in the comments. I'd love to discover what is inspiring you.

Our technology became quantum. Our mindset remained industrial.

We live in a world of AI, quantum computing, and constant innovation.

Yet many of us are still trying to navigate it with an outdated operating system: hustle harder, do more, stay busy.

What if the productivity crisis isn't about time management?

What if it's about consciousness?

In my latest essay, I explore why the future of productivity isn't found in another app or optimization hack, but in slowing down, cultivating awareness, and learning to work with our energy instead of against it.

If you've ever felt that modern life is moving faster than your nervous system can keep up, this one's for you.

When was the last time you paused to reflect before moving on to the next thing?

So often, we jump from one month to the next without celebrating our progress or learning from what didn't go as planned.

This 60-minute Productivity Workshop is your opportunity to slow down, check in with yourself, and move forward with intention.

Together, we'll:
✨ Reflect on the past month
✨ Celebrate your wins
✨ Identify what got in the way
✨ Clarify your priorities
✨ Create a simple plan for the month ahead

You don't need a perfect system, you just need a moment to pause, reset, and begin again.

📅 Join me for this 60-minute workshop and start your next month with clarity instead of overwhelm.

💛 I'd love to see you there.

It takes 10 seconds to install instagram back after deleting. I do almost once a week, I delete for a day or two and install it back. Nice break from it.

So much to enjoy in NYC this summer, check out free silent disco at Lincoln Center in July!

Happy Summer!

More dancing, less instagram ;)

How often do you set aside time to do one thing well?

Most of us don't struggle because we have too much to do.

We struggle because our attention is constantly being pulled in different directions.

Focus Day is a dedicated space to step away from distractions, work alongside a supportive community, and finally make meaningful progress on what matters most.

Whether you're tackling a project, planning your next move, or simply catching up on tasks you've been avoiding, you'll have uninterrupted time to focus, with gentle accountability and encouragement along the way.

✨ Join us on Zoom
📅 July 8 | July 19 | July 25
🎁 Your first Focus Day is free.

Comment FOCUS or send me a DM, and I'll send you the registration link.
