9th-12th grade students are required to have community service hours to graduate. The Jefferson County Clerk office would like to extend a hand in helping our students accumulate those hours. Pine Bluff, White Hall, Watson Chapel, and Friendship students can earn volunteer service hours through the County Clerk office!

Applications are available at the County Clerk office or your school's Counselor office. If you need further information, give us a call, 870-541-5322.

Legendary singer, songwriter, and actress Dolly Parton passed away at the age of 80 on August 25, 2026. The announcement of her passing was shared by her nephew, Bryan Seaver, in a video posted to Instagram.

Due to an electrical outage affecting the campus, Pine Bluff Junior High will not have school today, August 24, 2026.

We are working to address the issue and will provide additional information regarding the status of school for tomorrow as it becomes available.

Who is Dr. Tamara P. Glover?

Dr. Tamara P. Glover is a nationally recognized licensed clinical social worker, educator, speaker, author, and maternal mental health advocate who proudly serves as Mrs. USA International Global. With a passion for empowering individuals, strengthening families, and transforming communities, Dr. Glover has dedicated her career to education, advocacy, mental health awareness, and compassionate leadership.

A proud native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Dr. Glover serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and is co-owner of Fulfilled Life Counseling, where she provides leadership and support focused on expanding mental health awareness and access to quality care.

Dr. Glover earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, her Master of Social Work from Arkansas State University, and her Ph.D. in Social Work from Jackson State University. She also completed the prestigious Management Development Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, further enhancing her expertise in executive leadership, organizational development, and professional advancement.

As a scholar-practitioner, published author, and nationally recognized speaker, Dr. Glover is committed to developing and inspiring the next generation of social work professionals. She is the founder of Level Up Social Work, a coaching and licensure preparation platform designed to equip social workers with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to advance professionally.

Dr. Glover’s commitment to maternal mental health is deeply personal. Following her own experience with postpartum depression, she transformed her journey into a powerful platform for advocacy and awareness. Through speaking engagements, education, and community outreach, she works to eliminate the stigma surrounding maternal mental health, encourage women to seek support, and remind mothers that healing and restoration are possible.

Her mission is grounded in the belief that when mothers heal, families thrive, communities rise, and generations are transformed.

As Mrs. USA International Global, Dr. Glover will proudly represent the United States at the Mrs. International Global competition in Malaysia, using this distinguished opportunity to elevate conversations surrounding maternal mental health, promote hope and healing, and inspire women and families around the world.
