Menopause isn’t always something that happens naturally with age.

For some women, cancer treatment or risk-reducing surgery can bring on menopause much earlier — and sometimes very suddenly.

Chemotherapy can affect ovarian function, while an oophorectomy can cause immediate surgical menopause. For women at high risk, risk-reducing surgery may also be part of their care journey.

The changes can look different for everyone — from hot flashes and sleep changes to brain fog, mood changes, fatigue, and more.

You don’t have to navigate these changes alone.

At Re-Femme, we bring together resources and support to help women understand and navigate hormonal changes throughout their cancer journey.

Re-Femme is everything I wish I had during my own cancer journey. It didn’t exist when I was diagnosed, so I built it for the next woman who needs guidance, answers, and support. 💗

Treatment-induced menopause can happen suddenly—whether from chemotherapy, ovarian suppression, or a prophylactic oophorectomy—and the impact can reach far beyond the clinic.

Hot flashes. Sleep changes. Brain fog. Mood changes. Joint discomfort. Changes in intimacy and sexual health. Sometimes it can feel like your body changed overnight.

Your medical care team is an important resource for managing these symptoms, but there are also ways to support your quality of life outside the clinic walls.

That’s where Re-Femme comes in. We’re here with practical education, resources, products, and support to help you navigate these changes and feel less alone along the way.

You deserve support for more than your treatment. You deserve support for how treatment affects your everyday life.

Sometimes, it’s not the diagnosis itself—it’s the uncertainty that can make you feel least like yourself.

The waiting. The appointments. The results. The decisions. And still having to show up for work, for your family, and for everything else while quietly processing what you’re going through.

You don’t have to navigate those moments alone.

Re-Femme brings together trusted resources, products, and support to help women feel informed, cared for, and more like themselves throughout their cancer journey.

Because you deserve support beyond the clinic—and a place to turn when you don’t know what comes next. ❤️

Re-femme - Understanding Your Oncotype DX Score: What It Means for Your Treatment Plan 08/12/2026

One question I get asked all the time is about the Oncotype DX score. While it’s primarily used for women diagnosed with ER-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer, I still hear questions about it from women with all different types of breast cancer. Because it can be confusing, I wanted to create a simple resource that explains what it is, who it’s for, and how it may influence treatment decisions.

Here’s the article I wrote:

https://www.joinrefemme.com/blog/77/understanding-your-oncotype-dx-score-what-it-means-for-your-treatment-plan.cfm

I worked in the oncology space for over a decade before becoming a breast cancer patient myself last February, so I’ve experienced this journey from both sides.

During treatment, I realized how scattered the information, products, and support were. That’s why I created a free resource that brings everything together in one place—from diagnosis through survivorship.

It includes trusted education, questions to ask your doctors, curated product recommendations, a free cancer registry, virtual support for nutrition, fitness, and cold capping, along with guidance for hair loss, hormonal side effects, recovery, wellness, and day-to-day life during treatment.

If you register for free, you’ll also receive stage-specific educational articles and access to savings on products and services many of us end up needing.
