It was an honor to take part in the 21st annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Nashville TN over the weekend. I am immensely grateful for the ongoing research, promising new treatments and the endless fight to find the CURE. I hope everyone that we walked alongside felt loved and supported. Such a beautiful, hope-filled day. 🙏🏻💖

It’s been a long time since I shared here, but I want to say that yesterday (8.8.22) I celebrated being cancer free for ✨Two Years!!!✨ I deeply appreciate all my friends near and far who have prayed for me and encouraged me ever since the beginning of this journey. Two years have gone by quickly; how grateful I am that The Lord continues to give me sustained health and my well-being. He has plans for my life and I know they are good. Blessings to all who are reading this. Have a beautiful day! 💕

Last week I received the wonderful report from my doctor that I remain Cancer Free!!! I want to thank everyone for lifting me and my family up in prayer and believing with me in my sustained well-being.

My mind is at ease, focused on all the beautiful, exciting days ahead. God is so faithful and I had to share my testimony of His goodness with you today. Thank you dear friends! God bless you all in 2022!!! 💖

It’s been 3 weeks since I shared my news of my latest health concern. I made it everyone. ❤️ The photos below attest to God’s unwavering goodness. I’ve experienced many moments of peace, joy and can genuinely say I fully embraced the time spent with my loved ones. Christmas was beautiful, and the New Year rang in full of HOPE for 2022. Now it’s time to get down to business and figure out this place on the side of my chest…tomorrow, January 5th.

Scriptures, prayers, and encouraging messages have come in continuously over these past few weeks. Each time I felt myself slip into doubt and struggle with uncertainty, I’d either find something that I knew was The Lord speaking directly to me, or I’d receive a text, call or DM from someone that would instantly put a smile on my face. I had a dear friend send me their calendar marked, “1/5/22 @ 1:15pm pray for Lizzie.” You guys, my heart is so full. 🙏🏻❤️ I am overwhelmed with gratitude by your love and empathy towards me. Thank you so much. God has gifted me with the BEST community to share life with. I’m also deeply grateful for my husband, with his innate ability to always reassure and comfort..he has been my constant during this eventful time.

I honestly don’t believe I’m going to be diagnosed with cancer, but this process of ruling it out is very scary. Yet, once again, I find the beauty…that ‘see it in pink’ perception through it all. Whatever the outcome, God’s got me.

Tomorrow will be a good day. 💖

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I pray this year is filled with His goodness and so much JOY. God bless you all!!

I’ve decided it’s time to extend and share something that’s going on with me, and I’m asking for your prayers.

Two weeks ago, I discovered a prominent change in the area just below my surgical lymph node site, where my oncologist has been closely observing since my last follow-up. The ultrasound showed this area to be scar tissue, and the plan was to leave it alone unless there were changes or growth. I’m now scheduled for the first week of January to have this re-evaluated and I speculate with the wisdom of my doctor, he’ll want to biopsy it this time around.

Since scheduling my appointment, I’ve prayed daily for God to take away the shock, fear, and frustration I’m experiencing with all of this. It makes no sense. I assumed two aggressive surgeries to cure my cancer would be it forever. Honest I did. I certainly didn’t expected the word ‘biopsy’ to ever be spoken again. Yet here we are.

I have filled just about every day with joyful activities to keep me engaged and distracted, yet ironically, I’m still finding plenty of moments to think of the uncertainties surrounding this new scare. Please keep me and my family in your prayers over the next couple of weeks while we wait. I can not and will not stop believing and trusting God that I’ve been healed from this disease. The enemy wants to use this to tear me down but I know God is bigger and will see me through. 🙏🏻

I hope everyone is having a beautiful Christmas season! I will keep you updated. Thank you for your continued support and for caring so much about me. God bless you all! ❤️🎄❤️

We are needing family photos! With my husband’s hectic work schedule these days and a five year old who began her first year of school… it’s hard! However, this girl is feeling so good these days, she couldn’t resist documenting it..even with her little angel calling her name a dozen times in the background. 😂💁🏼‍♀️🤍

I have some incredible news: My feeling is beginning to return. It’s subtle, but those nerves are working HARD to regenerate. ✨ I’m at a better weight, a size 2/4 and overall can honestly say I feel less fragile and less beaten up. I have shared this on my personal page and had to share with all my prayer warriors here as well. Prayers have been heard and answered. Thank you. 🙏🏻 Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

When I look at myself, specifically at my scars that run along just below my chest, all I see these days is strength, beauty and the power of GOD. His unwavering faithfulness in my life. You don’t forget the solemnity in your doctor’s eyes when they say, “You will be numb, quite possibly forever.” I am a very optimistic, hope-filled individual, but I also accept things at face value. All along wanting to live has been of utmost concern. Until this past weekend, I had accepted that I wouldn’t have feeling where those blades cut the deepest. How wrong I’ve been proved! Jesus, thank you!!!

Dear friends, as always, thank you for giving me this healing space. Ladies who’ve been newly diagnosed with this disease; You’ve absolutely got this, do not doubt you can win your battle! If you find my page, please reach out. 🙏🏻

I wish you all so much JOY this beautiful Christmas season! Love, light, and God’s blessings to you all!!
❤️🎄❤️

Thankfulness. Gratitude. Blessed; far more than I’ll ever deserve.

Lord, thank you for the beautiful gift of time. More time to collect memories. More time to love on the people who mean the world to me. Thank you for your steadfast peace and comfort, as I continue to travel on this road of survivorship.

With a heart full of Thanksgiving, through every hill and valley, thank you Jesus for this time. Thank you for healing me.

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I am celebrating 13 months of being cancer free!!! 💖

We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living.
