Five injectors. Four med spas. All within the same four-mile stretch of one road.

On paper, that probably makes us competitors.

In real life, it means we have people nearby who understand this job, care about doing it well, and want to see the standard of care keep getting better.

There is room to build your own business without needing someone else’s to struggle.

There is room to share knowledge.
There is room to refer.
There is room to ask questions.
There is room to celebrate each other.

Patients are better served when good injectors know each other.

Community over competition.

Good injectors want more good injectors.

When your patient flexes her neck and all you can think is Jurassic Park. 🦖 Just kidding, those were HER words, not mine.

Those vertical cords in the neck are called platysma bands. The platysma is a thin muscle that runs from your collarbone up to your jaw. When it pulls, it can show up as bands and soften the line of your jaw.

The good news? Botox Cosmetic is FDA-approved for moderate to severe platysma bands. A few small injections relax the muscle, so the bands soften and your neck and jawline look smoother. Little to no downtime, and results usually last around 3 to 4 months.

Is it for everyone? No. Some neck changes come from skin laxity or volume loss, and Botox won’t change those. That’s my job: I’ll look at what’s actually going on and tell you honestly if it’s worth it. We’ll also go over the risks at your consult, like with any treatment.

If you’ve ever caught your neck in a selfie and thought “what is THAT,” come see me.

You do not need to walk into an aesthetics appointment knowing whether you need Botox, filler, IPL, microneedling, or anything else.

That’s my job.

You can tell me, “I look tired lately.”
“My skin just doesn’t look like it used to.”
“I don’t like my profile.”
“My face is always red.”
Or even, “I don’t know what bothers me. Something just feels different.”

I’ll assess your skin, anatomy, movement, volume and proportions and explain what I’m seeing.

And yes, sometimes I’ll point out something you didn’t specifically ask about. Not because I need you to suddenly dislike another part of your face, but because you may not know that what you’re noticing is connected to something else entirely.

Then we talk about options.

Maybe it’s Botox. Maybe it’s filler. Maybe we need to work on your skin. Maybe it’s something you can do at home.

And sometimes the answer is: I wouldn’t do anything.

You don’t need to diagnose yourself before you come see me.

Bring me the problem. I’ll explain the options. You decide what, if anything, we do.

hEDS means our nervous system is basically never off duty.

So yes, I bought a sequin lap pad for the clinic because sensory input helps me regulate and, more specifically, because I wanted to play with it.

Then Dr. Kelly found it.

She’s my medical director, board-certified, menopause-certified, and apparently completely incapable of doing a telehealth visit without running her hands back and forth across those sequins.

Patients have no idea. Her hands are just down there doing their own thing.

Two providers with connective tissue disorders.
One sequin lap pad.

And somehow it is no longer mine.

Honestly, this may be the most accurate representation of Full Spectrum possible.

I don’t really want to go viral.

I want the woman in Mount Juliet who’s been nervous to get Botox to find me.
I want the person who’s been putting off an appointment because they’re afraid of looking overdone to find me.
I want someone searching for an injector who will actually tell them “no” when they don’t need something to find me.

10,000 views from all over the country are nice.
100 views from the right people in my community mean a whole lot more.

Every time someone local chooses Full Spectrum, there’s still a part of me that thinks, you had options, and you picked us.

That will probably never stop being a big deal to me.

Is anyone else ever annoyed by their own level of go big or go home?

I have been wanting to start making sourdough for a while.

A normal person might buy some flour, make a starter, learn to make bread.

Apparently that was not going to be enough for me.

Because if I was going to make sourdough, obviously I needed to buy whole wheat berries, buy a grain mill, mill my own flour, and use it fresh.

At some point during all of this I looked at my husband and said, “Latest hyperfixation unlocked. I hope you like this bread.”

So now I am not just “making sourdough.”

I am grinding wheat like it’s 1847.

And honestly? I love it.

There is something incredibly satisfying about knowing exactly what is in the bread I’m eating: freshly milled whole-grain flour, water, and salt.

The whole wheat kernel stays intact until I’m ready to use it, so I’m getting the bran, germ, and endosperm instead of the parts that are removed to make refined white flour. And with them come the fiber, vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and other naturally occurring compounds found in the whole grain.

It has been a learning curve. My kitchen has looked like a science experiment. I have absolutely questioned why I couldn’t just have a normal hobby.

But I can genuinely say this has become one of the foods I feel best about eating.

Could I have just bought a bag of flour?

Absolutely.

Was I ever going to do that?

Apparently not.

My first-ever trend and I chose violence.

The LOOK on Dr. Kelly’s face when I asked if she’d ever considered becoming a “real doctor.” She genuinely looks like I personally betrayed her.

For the record, she is absolutely the realest of real doctors, which is precisely why I knew this would work.

And then she hit me with “probably an influencer” and honestly, I deserved that.

10/10 rage bait. No notes.

Not sure she’ll agree to participate in trend #2.

Okay, if you’ve been thinking about getting an Omnilux… this is your sign. 👀

You already know I’m a big fan of things you can actually be consistent with at home—and Omnilux is one of them. It’s clinically proven LED light therapy, there’s no downtime, and it doesn’t require adding twelve more steps to your skincare routine. 😂

And this month, Omnilux is ON SALE at Full Spectrum.

✨ September 1–14
$50 OFF 1 full-size device
$115 OFF 2 full-size devices
$200 OFF 3 full-size devices
+ 15% OFF Mini LED devices & topical skincare

If you’ve been wanting one, come by Full Spectrum and purchase yours in office. And if you’re not sure which device makes the most sense for your skin, ask me. I’d much rather help you choose the right one than have you spend money on something that isn’t the best fit.

And yes… we have another Omnilux sale coming later this month. 👀 I’ll share more on that one soon.

If you’re in Mount Juliet and your skincare routine still revolves around trying to “add collagen” back into your skin, we need to talk.

Because once you understand what collagen actually IS, skincare and aesthetic treatments start making a whole lot more sense.

Some treatments are designed to replace volume.
Some improve pigment or redness.
Some resurface the skin.
And some actually signal your own skin to remodel and produce more collagen.

Those are very different things, and “anti-aging” is not a treatment plan.

At Full Spectrum Aesthetics & Wellness, I’d rather explain what’s actually happening to your skin and choose a treatment based on that than sell you whatever happens to be trending this month.

Follow along because this is Part 1 of my collagen series. Next, we’re getting into what actually happens to your collagen as you age and why your skin starts changing long before you necessarily see it.

I did the math so you don’t have to. And yes, it’s real math. 😂

Our Preventative Membership was built for the patient who already knows she’s going to keep up with her Botox and skin treatments throughout the year, so why keep paying for everything separately?

Instead, you get a predictable monthly payment and a treatment plan designed around consistency, because the best aesthetic results aren’t usually created in one appointment. They’re maintained over time.

And when you actually compare the cost of paying for those treatments individually?

The membership makes a LOT of sense.

$698 due at enrollment
10 monthly payments of $349. Botox + microneedling built into your year.

If you’ve been thinking about joining, consider this my plea to please stop paying retail. 😭

DM MEMBERSHIP and I’ll send you the details.
