Pokes N Progress
Join me and follow my weekly pokes with EllieMD, where I focus on progress, not perfection!
Went shopping today! Got medium scrub bottoms (was a XL) and large tops (was a XXL)! Also got some size 10 jeans (was a 16)!!

It’s been a hot minute! Life has been insanely hard the last few months but I am finally feeling like myself again and I am proud to share my progress.
January 24th - 205lbs - size 16 XXL
October 8th - 147lbs - size 10 L
2lbs away from my goal - I see a panulectomy/tummy tuck in my future unfortunately and I should probably start working out too but I absolutely despise that 😕

15lbs to my goal weight!! Haven’t seen the 150s in almost 10 years!! Took me 7 months to loose 45lbs - slowly getting there!!
Six months ago, we made a decision to change our lives—not by chasing perfection, but by choosing consistency.
Today...
❤️ I’ve lost 40 pounds
💙 Mike has lost 65 pounds
That’s 105 pounds gone together.
The before picture reminds us where we started. The current picture reminds us why we never gave up.
There were weeks the scale barely moved. There were vacations, celebrations, stressful days, and moments we wanted to quit. But we kept showing up.
For us, EllieMD has been an incredible tool alongside making healthier choices and staying consistent. It didn’t do the work for us—but it made it possible to keep doing the work.
We’re not at the finish line yet, but we’re so proud of how far we’ve come. If you’re just starting your journey, don’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone else’s Chapter 20.
Just keep going. Six months from now, you’ll be glad you did. ❤️
35 pounds. 32 inches. Stronger. Healthier. Happier.
I’m not at the finish line yet, but I’m a whole lot closer than I was 5 months ago.
Maybe. So were the tanning beds we laid in for hours. So were the ci******es some of us smoked. So was the weekend Jungle Juice mixed in a plastic bucket by someone’s cousin who definitely wasn’t measuring ingredients.
The difference? Most of those things came with known risks and little to no health benefit.
I’m not telling anyone they need peptides. I’m saying that informed decisions should be based on evidence, not fear, assumptions, or social media headlines.
As a nurse, I support asking questions. I support healthy skepticism. What I don’t support is condemning something you haven’t taken the time to understand.
The goal isn’t to be perfect. The goal is to make better choices today than we made yesterday.
And for me, that includes learning, researching, and making informed decisions about my health instead of relying on opinions from people who haven’t done the same.
Hanging onto 30 - No big drops in the past couple weeks. No exciting new milestone. Just me, showing up every day and doing the work.
Some days it’s discouraging. It’s easy to wonder why the scale isn’t moving faster or why progress feels so slow. But then I remember something important: I didn’t come this far to quit because things got hard.
So I’ll keep taking my peptides. I’ll keep making better choices. I’ll keep trusting the process, even when the results aren’t showing up as quickly as I’d like. Because consistency still counts, even during the plateaus.
30 pounds is something I’m proud of. And while I know there’s more to come, I’m not chasing perfection… I’m building habits that last.
This journey isn’t over. Not even close.
Can we talk about the things nobody warns women about?
The exhaustion.
The stubborn weight.
The disrupted sleep.
The mood changes.
The feeling that your body suddenly started playing by a different set of rules.
I’m excited because EllieMD just released a new hormone health option and I have a feeling this is going to help a lot of people start getting answers.
Not hype.
Not guessing.
Real medical oversight and personalized care.
If you’ve been wondering whether your hormones could be playing a role in how you feel, comment INFO or send me a message. 💜

As a nurse, I've spent years teaching others that health isn't one-size-fits-all. Funny enough, I had to remind myself of that when it came to my own journey.
For a long time, I did all the things - started over on Mondays, counted calories, worked out, got frustrated, and wondered why it seemed so much harder for me than for everyone else. Choosing a GLP-1 wasn't giving up. It was finally using a tool that helped my body work with me instead of against me.
I'm down over 30 pounds, but what I'm most proud of isn't the number on the scale. It's having more energy, feeling more confident, and showing up as the best version of myself for my family, my patients, and me.
One thing I've learned along the way is that quality matters. That's why I trust EllieMD. Knowing I'm getting high-quality medication and support from a company that truly cares has made all the difference.
There is no trophy for struggling longer than necessary. If you need help, get help. If you need support, ask for it. Your health is worth it. 💙
