We see what we are prepared to understand.

Many saw Haiti’s losses at the World Cup.
We as a community saw progress. We saw possibility.

When Kreyòl Essence began, many didn’t see the vision either.

So my co-founder and me kept showing up—boldly. I show up boldly in how I lead, In what I wear 😉 , and In what I build: Bringing Lwil Maskriti from Haiti to 5,000 retail doors ( including ) while creating hundreds of jobs along the way.

Don’t be surprised when others can’t yet see a vision that was given to you.

Keep building anyway.

So, is it me or are Haitian men coming for us ladies in the style department?

This is not what my Haitian Dad looked like growing up. The Haitian zaddies did not come to play this weekend.

Who wore it best 👀🇭🇹?

Thank you & for organizing events that bought joy and celebrated our community.

A World Cup Dream, For my 77 Year Old Dad who just beat Cancer🇭🇹⚽️

When my dad was healthy, he didn’t just love soccer—he lived it.

He spent his own money sponsoring kids in Haiti, giving young players opportunities they never would have had. He took teams to Europe. He believed that a ball could open doors, build confidence, and change lives.

Today, at 77, after cancer, losing much of his eyesight, and relying on a wheelchair, we’re taking him to the World Cup.

This trip is about far more than soccer.

It’s about honoring a man who spent decades pouring into others. It’s about giving back to someone who gave so much. It’s about memories, legacy, and gratitude.

And if you look closely at his outfit, you’ll see the dilemma. 🇭🇹🇧🇷

A Haiti hat. A Brazil shirt.

A lifetime of supporting Haiti while admiring the beauty of Brazilian football.

No one knows how many World Cups he will get. We know this one he will enjoy.

This one’s for you, Dad. ❤️

Its my favorite time of the year- Haitian Heritage month 🇭🇹

One of the highlights is the annual 18.04 sale to commemorate the year of our independence.

We kicked it off a little early this year, so expect more things to go out of stock if you dont get your favs in early.

Here are my top three recommendations on what to try:

1. Haitian Castor Oil Light
2. Save Our Scalp Serum
3. So Deep Mint Conditioner

Thank you in advance for your support and making this sale a success.

In 2023, Kreyòl Essence earned a spot on Inc.’s list of Fastest-Growing Companies in the Southeast.

During Black History Month, I’m highlighting this achievement because it shows Black-founded companies can create lasting impact and access.

Progress isn’t always straightforward, but it’s meaningful.

As a daughter of immigrants, I know my culture fuels my journey, not holds me back.
