I'm not sorry. They cancelled and I was already dressed for it 🤍

But let's talk about why this is the blanket I keep reaching for.

"Organic cotton" on a tag is not the same as organic cotton all the way through. Cotton is one of the most pesticide heavy crops there is, so choosing organic at the farm level absolutely matters. But the fiber is only half the story!

What happens AFTER the cotton is grown is where most textiles get dirty. Dyeing, finishing, softening. That's where the formaldehyde resins and the wrinkle free coatings get added. A brand can say "organic cotton" on the front and still layer all of that on top of it.

That's why I look for GOTS certification instead of just the words on the tag. GOTS covers the growing AND the processing, so the chemistry is regulated from farm to finish. Most brands only certify the fiber. That's the part almost everybody skips.

This one is 100% organic cotton and GOTS certified. No polyester, which also means no plastic and no microplastics shedding into your house every time you wash it.

And honestly? It's just the softest thing I own. I already use their linen sheets so I knew what I was getting into, but this one has been on me every single night since it showed up.

Comment YES for my link and code to shop my new throw, sheets, and everything in between!

Let’s be honest about what is laying on the couch! Wrinkle free, easy care, no iron. Those almost always mean a formaldehyde based resin baked into the fiber, and it does not wash out. That’s exactly what it’s designed to do.

And a throw isn’t something you use once in a while! It lives on the couch from October through March (longer in my house, let’s be honest). It’s pulled up under your chin. It’s on your face. It’s the one thing everybody in the house reaches for. And if we aren’t laying under it, we’re laying on it!

Here’s the part I always come back to. None of this is an overnight thing. One blanket is not going to change your health overnight. But you use these nightly, for years, wrapped around you for hours at a time, and it adds up in either direction. Natural fibers breathe and let your body regulate its own temperature. Polyester traps heat and moisture and works against you all evening.

This one is 100% organic cotton and GOTS certified, which means the certification covers the dyeing and finishing too, not just the fiber. That’s the part almost every brand skips.

I already use their linen sheets, so I knew exactly what I was getting and Ioved adding this one to my collection!

They’ve demonized cholesterol for decades—but here’s the truth:

Cholesterol isn’t a death sentence. It’s a healing molecule.
Your body makes it on purpose—for hormones, brain health, digestion, and repairing damaged tissue.
So why the fear? Because Big Pharma found a way to profit off a number.

Did you know?
The “normal” cholesterol range used to be 240 mg/dL.
Then it dropped to 200.
Then 180.

Now people with completely healthy bodies are being told they’re “at risk”—and handed a statin script without asking why their levels might be elevated.

Statins don’t fix the root cause of inflammation.
They just lower the scoreboard.

Let’s stop blaming the firefighter (cholesterol) for showing up to the fire (inflammation + oxidative stress).
If your cholesterol is “high,” it’s time to dig deeper—not panic.

Ways to support healthy cholesterol naturally:
• Eat real, whole foods—especially healthy fats (like grass-fed butter, olive oil, and pasture-raised eggs)
• Ditch seed oils and ultra-processed snacks
• Move your body daily (even walking counts)
• Lower sugar + refined carb intake
• Add heart-supportive nutrients: omega-3s, CoQ10, magnesium, and fiber
• Get enough sleep + manage stress (both are massive for inflammation)

Your body knows what it’s doing. Let’s support it—not suppress it.

Ozempic and similar meds (like Wegovy, GLP1, and Mounjaro) were originally created to treat type 2 diabetes, not a crash diet for weight loss.

But they’ve exploded in popularity, and most people aren’t hearing the full story.

These medications can come with serious side effects:

✖️ Muscle loss alongside fat loss (which can slow your metabolism)
✖️ Digestive shutdown (gastroparesis, nausea, vomiting)
✖️ Suicidal thoughts + mood changes (yes, it’s listed in the insert)
✖️ Gallbladder issues (including gallstones)
✖️ Pancreatitis risk
✖️ Fatigue + nutrient depletion from extreme appetite suppression

👉 And most people regain the weight when they stop.
👉 Long-term safety for weight loss? Still unknown. These weren’t studied that way.

Just to be clear … I’m not a doctor, nor am I claiming to be!
But you don’t need an M.D. to read the insert, look at the research, and ask questions. But, hnestly, your doctor should be explaining all of this to you before writing a prescription.

Your body isn’t broken. It doesn’t need to be hacked.
It needs nourishment, balance, and root-cause support, not a drug that shuts off hunger signals and wrecks your metabolism.

This isn’t about shame or fear, it’s about informed consent and you deserve that!

Follow for more holistic health truth bombs and clean strategies that actually support your body long-term.

📣 Did you know some cancers aren’t actually cancer? They’re parasites that mimic tumor symptoms 🤯

Dr. Bob also recently told me about a patient who had cysts in her breast and was scheduled for surgery… but it turned out they were parasites! Obviously, it’s not always the case, but cases like this happen!

Some infections, like lung flukes or tapeworms, can appear like tumors and lead to misdiagnosis so it’s ALWAYS best to get a few opinions. But I’m sharing this because I’d take the latter any day, and I want you to know your options!! With one of the top causes of death in the US being medical mistakes, we deserve that clarity!

For the case my doctor told me about, he found them through muscle testing so you can always look for someone reputable in your area! It won’t always show up on a stool sample, esp if it’s not in the gut!

Always consult a healthcare professional if you notice persistent or unusual symptoms but always get a few opinions to confirm! 🫶
