RemeBees sells different, carefully researched, local apiary products and home remedies. What herb do I need? Is it available in the States? Can I process it?

I am sure my story is not that different from other people who started a small business. My husband has severe arthritis all through his body and in October 2017 we ran out of the herbal salve he used from Germany. I contacted relatives to send some more but it turned out to be rather expensive to ship. Knowing that nothing has worked better for him and myself (my arthritis kicked in when I was only 16), I started to research. How do I make a salve??? A week later, after a lot of research I had some that we could try. Well, whattaya know? It worked! I had other people try and found it helped all of them with various pains. Since then I have discovered propolis, come up with over 20 different infused honeys, cough syrups people swear by, eleven salves, loads of tinctures, infused oils, lotion bars, candles, furniture polish, leather treatment and more. My husband decided we should try to see if my inventions would sell. I wasn’t so sure but him and other friends insisted we had something great here. In order to sell at the local market we had to register a business, which my hubby so graciously took care of for me. My sons helped me come up with a logo, the names for the remedies and, since I love twists on words, RemeBees (remedies from bees) was born. I will keep researching and introducing new and seasonal flavors of honey, new salves and who knows what else is out there that can be made with honey, wax, and propolis. At this point we are blessed to say we work for RemeBees only. We make/store/handle our products with the care you learn about while becoming a master beekeeper – and some German common sense. Who knows what we can find to offer you next? So keep on checking in and don’t forget to lave reviews on the products you’ve tried so we know how we are doing or what could be improved. If you like what we offer feel free to share the site!

Shawnee Indian Mission Fall Festival

Just a few snapshots of what you can experience.

10/10/2026

What to do today?

The Shawnee Indian Mission State Historic Site in Fairway, KS (part of Kansas City) has it's 40th Fall Festival today and that's where we're set up. Goes until 5pm today with lots of demonstrations of trappers and other old timy things like soap making over an open fire, cold pressing c***r in front of you, pow wows, children's activities, teepee construction, plus the history inside the mission and so many more things. We love to learn from people who love to talk about their trade and the history of it.

This is a great event for kids, homeschools, or anyone interested in those covered wagon days.

Many are still setting up so we'll post more pictures later on.

Thank you Scott City!!

We had a great time at the Whimmydiddle! Event organizers and customers alike were so very nice. If you're looking to add an event, we highly recommend.
We took an extra day to hang out with friends to see some of the sights and chill. With the weather cooperating we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

God willing we'll be back next year for more!

The Whimmydiddle is on!

We found several old friend here with their great products!

Joe's Little Nut Co doesn't have social media but their fresh roasted spiced nuts are the best we've had outside of Germany.

This is a super friendly place, like most small towns, you'll love the atmosphere.

Last market day tomorrow!!

And we have creamed honey back just in time for you to stock up!

Also finally out for sure are two different conditioner bars. You all asked over and over and the experimenting stage is finally done.
We have a regular one and one promoting strong hair, preventing hair loss and graying.
At the Breadbasket Farmers Market we'll have a few dozen eggs for those of you who were unsuccessfully looking last week.

Come stock up one last time!

Of course you can come to our house (call ahead to make sure we're home and the dogs are in) or order online. If we're out of something you want online send us an email or call, we'll figure it out for you.

This is the beginning of event season, check out our posts to see what fun places we're at!

ATTENTION market shoppers!!

Next week, September 14th, will be our last market for both, the Breadbasket_Farmers_Market
and the
Downtown Topeka Farmers Market
We have and will have extra of our half gallon and gallons for you to stack up on. Maybe email or text if you need several of anything so we can bring/hold it for you.

Today we have EnerBee back at both locations and next week we'll finally have our popular creamed honey back in stock. Phew!
We've been running out of your favorites right and left but the harvest finally came in and we're working like crazy to bring your favorites back before we're leaving the markets for fall event season.

Happy Labor Day weekend!
