I align men and women with their unique biology using epigenetics and eliminating the guesswork. I am also a Certified Stress Management Coach.

I am a Level 2 Certified Apeiron Epigenetics Coach, Certified Holistic Health Coach, graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I have a passion for working with first responders and love to work with people who have autoimmune conditions, adrenal fatigue, food allergies/sensitivies. I also work with people who have very high stress levels, and little to no energy with which to deal with it. The frustration of not knowing where or how to being to heal can be overwhelming. I understand this well, as I have experienced it myself while on my journey to heal my own conditions. I became a coach to alleviate some of these frustrations, and create with them a focused path to reaching their own wellness goals. We work as a team to discover what foods work for YOUR body, as we are all different. We also delve deeply into your life and lifestyle. You will implement healthy habits which will last a lifetime, and feel empowered to live the life you were meant to live. My goals for you are to be happy, healthy, and fulfilled...and to have fun in the process of getting there! My clients, if they choose, are part of a private client support group on Facebook which I have created. I believe peer support/encouragement is a wonderful addition to the program for individual clients. Just knowing you're not alone can make a difference in a positive way. Sometimes what looks like a behavior problem might be a sleep problem.

When kids aren’t getting enough quality sleep, it doesn’t always show up as simply being tired.

It can show up in their mood. Their ability to focus. Their emotional regulation. Their energy. Their learning. Even the way they behave at home and at school.

In my conversation with pediatric sleep specialist JaNae Haycock, we unpack how deeply sleep is connected to a child’s health and development, and the signs parents may be overlooking.

We talk about everything from bedtime routines and screens to hyperactivity, school struggles, snoring, restless sleep, and other red flags that may be worth investigating.

If something feels “off” with your child, sleep deserves a place in the conversation.

Your child’s sleep could be affecting WAY more than their energy.

Mood. Behavior. Concentration. Learning. Immune health. Growth. Emotional regulation.

Sleep touches all of it.

On today’s episode of Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., I’m joined by pediatric sleep specialist and certified pediatric nurse practitioner JaNae Haycock SleepStars for a conversation I really want every parent to hear.

JaNae has spent 25 years working in pediatric healthcare, and she’s breaking down what parents need to know about their children’s sleep, from infancy all the way through the teenage years.

We talk about bedtime battles, night wakings, sleep routines, genetics, screens and phones, teenagers staying up way too late, and some of the surprising ways poor sleep can show up during the day.

And we get into the red flags parents shouldn’t ignore, including snoring, extreme daytime sleepiness, breathing disruptions, and restless sleep.

Because sometimes what looks like a behavior problem, a concentration issue, or a kid who is constantly struggling may have another piece worth investigating.

Sleep matters. And building healthier habits starts at home.

Poor sleep doesn’t always look like a tired kid.

Sometimes it looks like trouble concentrating. Big emotions. Hyperactivity. Irritability. Struggles at school. Constantly getting sick. Or a child who simply doesn’t seem like themselves.

And sleep can be one of the last things we think to look at.

Tomorrow on Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., I’m sitting down with pediatric sleep specialist JaNae Haycock SleepStars to talk about what parents need to know about their kids’ sleep.

We’re getting into sleep needs at different ages, bedtime struggles, genetics, screens, behavior, development, and the red flags that could point to an underlying sleep disorder.

Because sleep isn’t just about getting your kids to bed on time. It plays a role in how their brains and bodies function every single day.

If you’re a parent, this is an episode you’ll want to hear.

Your symptoms aren’t inconveniences to push through. They’re information.

The sleep changes, brain fog, digestive issues, shifts in energy, anxiety, pain, or simply feeling like something is “off” may not fit neatly into one box. But when you start looking at those experiences together and over time, a much bigger picture can begin to emerge.

That’s what my conversation with Dr. Daniella Remy is all about: understanding your body, recognizing patterns, and becoming a stronger advocate for your health without feeling like you have to figure everything out on your own.

Women deserve to feel heard. And we deserve better than simply accepting symptoms as something we have to live with.

Women have spent far too long being told to simply endure feeling “off.”

The exhaustion. The brain fog. The sleep changes. The digestive issues. The hormonal shifts. The symptoms that don’t seem connected until you finally start looking at the whole story.

Dr. Daniella Remy is back on Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., and this conversation is all about helping women better understand what their bodies are trying to tell them.

We talk about perimenopause and menopause, why symptoms can begin years before women realize what’s happening, how stress, hormones, sleep, nutrition, and other systems overlap, and why a single lab result can’t always capture the full picture.

Daniella also introduces Luna, the women’s health platform she created to help women track their lived experiences, recognize patterns, and translate those patterns into meaningful information they can bring to their healthcare providers.

Because advocating for yourself doesn’t mean becoming your own doctor.

It means knowing your body, paying attention when something changes, and having the information you need to say, “Something isn’t right. Let’s figure out why.”

Women deserve better than being told to just deal with their symptoms.

For too long, women have been expected to push through exhaustion, sleep changes, brain fog, digestive issues, anxiety, hormonal shifts, pain, and that nagging feeling that something just isn’t right.

And when those symptoms don’t fit neatly into a box? Getting answers can become even harder.

Tomorrow on Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., Dr. Daniella Remy is back for a conversation about the gaps in women’s health and why learning to understand the patterns in our bodies can be so powerful.

We talk about perimenopause, the symptoms women often don’t realize are connected, why a single lab result can’t always tell the whole story, and the importance of becoming an advocate for your own health without feeling like you have to become your own doctor.

Daniella also introduces Luna, the women’s health platform she created to help women track their experiences, uncover patterns, and better communicate what’s happening to the practitioners supporting them.

Because “something feels off” deserves to be heard.

You can do everything “right” for your body and still be missing a major piece of the puzzle.

Nutrition matters. Movement matters. Sleep matters. Supporting your gut and hormones matters.

But what state is your nervous system living in every single day?

In Part 2 of my conversation with Jackie Kilraine , we explore what can happen when the brain remains stuck in patterns of stress, hypervigilance, and survival, and how those patterns may connect to what we experience throughout the rest of the body.

This conversation goes beyond managing symptoms. It’s about stepping back, connecting the dots, and recognizing that the brain, nervous system, immune system, and body are not separate conversations.

Your body can leave the stressful situation while your brain keeps living in it.

That missing connection can change the way we think about chronic stress, pain, anxiety, immune health, and what it actually means to heal.

Dr. Jackie Kilraine is BACK for Part 2 of our conversation on Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., and this time we’re connecting the brain to the rest of the body.

We get into chronic stress and trauma, the immune response, autoimmune conditions, the gut-brain connection, thyroid health, chronic pain, PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and the brainwave patterns Jackie sees when the brain stays stuck in survival mode.

We also talk about neurofeedback, brain mapping, and what it can look like to help the brain develop new patterns instead of continuing to operate from old ones.

Because sometimes you can change your diet, prioritize sleep, exercise at the right time, take the supplements, and work on your lifestyle…and still feel like your body won’t settle.

There may be another piece worth exploring.

Your brain can hold onto survival patterns long after the threat is gone.

And that can become a much bigger conversation than stress alone.

Tomorrow, Jackie Kilraine is back for Part 2 of our conversation on Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., and we’re connecting the dots between the brain, nervous system, immune response, chronic stress, trauma, pain, and what can happen throughout the body when we stay stuck in fight-or-flight.

We also get into the gut-brain connection, thyroid health, autoimmune conditions, PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and how Jackie uses neurofeedback to work with dysregulated brainwave patterns.

Because we can focus on nutrition, movement, sleep, supplements, and all the other pieces of our health, but the state of the brain and nervous system deserves a place in that conversation too.

This episode will have you thinking about stress and the brain-body connection in an entirely new way.

So many people blame themselves for feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or unable to slow down.

But what if your brain is doing exactly what it was designed to do?

The problem isn’t that your brain is broken. It’s that it has learned to prioritize survival over everything else. And when it stays in that state long enough, it can begin affecting every aspect of your health.

In this episode of Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., Dr. Jackie Kilraine and I explore how chronic stress reshapes the brain, why so many people get stuck in survival mode, and what it takes to help the brain find its way back to a place of calm.

Healing doesn’t begin by fighting your brain. It begins by understanding it.
