As I bring Soul Budz back, I wanted this favorite to grow with it.

The name is a little play on words because so many of you use it on the soles of your feet, while also tying into the Soul Budz brand. It just felt like the perfect fit.

Don’t worry, the balm itself isn’t changing. It’s still handcrafted with the same ingredients, care, and intention you’ve come to love.

This time, it’ll arrive tucked inside a kraft window box, wrapped in parchment paper, with a touch of dried lavender to make every unboxing feel like a little ritual.

🌿 A little Soul Budz update…

While going through some of my things, I came across a small collection of Soul Budz products that never found their homes.

Finding them reminded me how much this little business means to me.

I’ve seen your messages, your comments, and your support, even during the quiet. Thank you for continuing to show up for Soul Budz.

One thing I’ve always promised myself is that I would never create just to keep up with a schedule. Every product I make is created with intention, care, and a genuine love for the process.

When I can’t fully show up for that process, I’d rather take a step back instead of rushing something that doesn’t reflect the heart of this brand.

Because these are from previous batches, there is a very limited quantity available. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. (Not forever, just right now.)

I’ll be sharing more details soon about what products are available and when they’ll be listed in the shop.

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve shown up here.

The truth is… the past few months have been a really difficult season of life for me. I needed to step away for a while to focus on some personal things and take care of myself.

But Soul Budz never stopped meaning something to me. This space was always about more than soap. It’s about small rituals that help us get through hard days, and lately I’ve been needing those reminders myself.

I’m still here, and Soul Budz is still here.

I’m slowly finding my rhythm again and easing back into creating. I just wanted to check in and let you all know I haven’t disappeared.

Meet the Maker — Alexis, Founder of Soul Budz 🌿

I’m Alexis — a Navy veteran who spent years learning how to push through, stay composed, and keep moving… even when everything inside me felt heavy. When I left the military, I carried discipline with me, but I also carried burnout, anxiety, and a nervous system that didn’t know what rest or gentleness looked like anymore.

I started Soul Budz during a season of my life when everything felt heavy.
I needed something to anchor me — something gentle, something grounding, something that made me feel like I could finally take a breath again.

So I began small.
Bar by bar.
Ritual by ritual.

And somewhere along the way, it became more than soap.
It became a space — for me, and now for you.

Every bar I make carries a piece of that journey, shaped by the discipline the military gave me and the healing it never taught me.

Soul Budz wasn’t built from perfection.
It was built from burnout — from the quiet moments where I finally admitted I needed something soft to hold onto, something that reminded me I didn’t have to be “tough” all the time.

Now I pour that same intention into every bar I make:
for the days you’re exhausted,
for the moments you’re overwhelmed,
for the parts of you that are still healing and still trying.
