Reimagining a home, 16 years later.

Originally completed in 2010, this residence was reworked to create a more expansive estate—introducing additional parking, a guest house, and a wellness spa while preserving the character of the original architecture.

Set within a steep site above the Los Angeles skyline, the landscape became an opportunity in itself. An aerial walkway weaves through the trees, connecting boardwalks, gardens, and viewing platforms to create a place not simply to arrive, but to wander, pause, and take in the view.

Built into the hillside, this West Los Angeles residence is defined by what it reveals—and what it dissolves.

A once-traditional single-story home was reimagined as a contemporary two-level residence, with a new lower level carved beneath the existing terrace. Retractable glass walls open the main living spaces to the landscape, while terraced gardens and uninterrupted views connect the home to the city beyond.

At the center of the lower level, a 1,200-square-foot transparent pool crosses the grand stair, allowing light and water to become part of the architecture itself.

Five levels of architecture, entertainment and elevated living come together in a residence designed to embrace the energy of the Sunset Strip while remaining deeply connected to its hillside setting.

A private nightclub, bowling alley, wellness spaces and rooftop terrace unfold alongside a double height living room and expansive city views. At the center of the home, a water curtain draws natural light through the lower levels, while a full height video wall turns the staircase into an ever changing art installation.

A challenging triangular site in Beverly Hills shaped the architecture of this family residence, creating an opportunity to explore light, water, and movement throughout the home. The arrival sequence begins at the drive court and continues across a glass bridge spanning the central light well, establishing a direct connection between the street, entry, and city beyond. Cascading water flows from the upper level through green marble at the entry and into the lower level, extending the experience vertically through the house.

The main living spaces open toward the city and infinity-edge pool, while the primary suite is dramatically cantilevered above the terrace, creating a floating volume that provides shade below and leaves the landscape uninterrupted. With the secondary bedrooms, family spaces, gym, wellness area, media room, and garage organized around the light court below grade, the home turns the limitations of its narrow footprint into an integral part of the design.

Full-height glazing opens the interiors to an expansive terrace and lush landscape, where a 160-foot swimming pool and 30-foot water wall create a striking focal point. Inside, a dramatic 25-foot foyer, sculptural contemporary fixtures, marble finishes, and integrated technology carry the same sense of quiet refinement throughout.
