I’m happy to say my birthday was a happy one. I’m still the same little girl, and I’m also a completely different person. In Thailand they say, “same same, but different,” and that really sums it up perfectly.

Thank you Lou Tapia for loving me and celebrating me. What a joy and blessing to get one more trip around the sun. 47, let’s go!

My favorite time of year is here! September is my birthday, my wedding anniversary, my son’s birthday, the return of football AND the best weather of the year, hot days with crisp mornings and evenings.

Summer is still shines on, AND it’s the routine of back to school to provide some stability. That is PERFECTION in my book!
