You probably heard about Hilary Duff and Joel Madden reuniting at Madison Square Garden for the first of her two “the lucky me tour” dates, but you might not have heard about her and Barb Thompson (Barb Thompson).
For much of the tour, Taylor Healy (Taylor Healey Makeup Artist) has been responsible for Duff’s hair, faithfully interpreting the lived-in style that Thompson created, but last night, Barb was back. (Duff’s makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan (KELSEY DEENIHAN FISHER), too!)
Thompson says, “For Hilary’s Madison Square Garden performance, I wanted her hair to feel effortlessly glamorous with soft, lived in texture, luminous shine and movement that would last from the first song to the encore. The focus was creating a polished finish that still felt modern and touchable.” She of course did that and then some.
