We are often afraid of pain and try to run away from it. But pain can be a messenger—a marker showing us where the body needs attention.
As Teacher Xiao explains, instead of only fearing pain, we can learn to listen to what our body is telling us.

ENOUGH WITH THE SUFFERING.
Mothers, you carry an innate wisdom within you. You know your child, you see their suffering, and you are not powerless.
There is so much we can learn about supporting the body—removing what may be harming it, restoring what is missing, providing nourishment, and giving the body the love, patience, and care it needs to heal.
Let’s empower mothers with knowledge. Let’s bring the basic tools of health back into every home.

One video could never do justice to this extraordinary gift of nature.
Figs are deeply nourishing rich in fiber, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper, and beneficial plant compounds. For thousands of years, the fig has also carried beautiful symbolism of abundance, fertility, and feminine life.
And it doesn’t end with the fruit. Fig leaves are traditionally used in foods and herbal preparations, and a warm fig or fig-leaf tea or syrup has traditionally been enjoyed for the throat and cough. Even the milky latex of the tree has a fascinating history of traditional external use.
Fresh from the tree, dried for winter, made into preserves, or prepared as tea—there is so much to learn about the fig.
We could speak for an entire week and still not cover everything this remarkable tree has to offer.

You’ve probably seen passion fruit at the market—but did you know the passionflower vine itself is also a beautiful and useful herb?
Many people grow passionflower as an ornamental vine, without realizing that it has traditionally been used as a calming herb to support relaxation and restful sleep.
And did you know about purslane? This humble plant is incredibly nutritious and especially rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Check one of my recent videos where I prepared a beautiful soup using purslane.
Nature is growing all around us. We just have to learn how to recognize it and use it.
Join us and learn about the plants growing right around you.

Some of the most remarkable natural remedies have been right in front of us for centuries.
Bee pollen is a concentrated natural food, rich in proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and beneficial plant compounds. I personally take just a few grains with freshly squeezed orange juice. You can also take it with water, or mix a small amount of bee pollen with local honey and take it that way. Train your body, build immunity, especially if you are suffering from seasonal allergies but not only.
Propolis is completely different. It is the protective resin of the beehive. Bees use it throughout their home, and it contains compounds with antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antifungal activity. Raw propolis is sticky and resinous and can become almost like gum when you chew it, so another wonderful way to use it is as a tincture or spray.
Propolis has been traditionally used for generations for wounds, oral health, gums, and teeth. In my own experience, I have seen it help tremendously with painful dental problems and infected wounds. A propolis tincture or oral spray can be applied around the tooth and gums while keeping the mouth very clean.
And please remember your local beekeeper. Local honey and bee pollen connect us with the flowers and plants growing in our own environment and have long been traditionally valued, including during allergy season. Supporting local beekeepers also means supporting the bees, our farmers, and our local environment.
Sometimes we search so far for answers when extraordinary gifts from nature are already around us. Learn about them, appreciate them, and keep this beautiful traditional knowledge alive.
